CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

   

When I arrived Westfalls, it was night once more. It was not quiet or dark. The smell of burning was in the air and red orange licked the air in a distance. Breaking into a run, I felt the throbbing grow worse. As I drew closer to the crime scene, tears fell from my eyes. I had not been in this part of town in a long time but I knew this place like the back of my hand. It’s the Hastings' home. 

What has Father done? What did he do to them?

The sky opened and poured heavily. Rain beat against my skin mercilessly as I reached the home. Loud roars and loud spell chants greeted me when I arrived. Werewolves defended their home and attacked as fire burned a couple of them and their home higher and higher.
