Chapter 4
Early in the morning, Kim was awakened by the loud ringing of his phone. When he answered the call, it was his elder maid, Gina.
"Kim! Where are you? I'm so worried that you didn't go home last night! I dialed your phone many times, but it was out of coverage. Huh! My God, Kim, you're getting on my nerves." Elder Gina was worried sick about him.
"Elder Gina, I'm sorry for not informing you. I spent the night at the Macrobat family's house. Do you remember them? I met my childhood friend, and because it was too risky to go back home in the dark, they offered me to stay there until morning. So don't worry, Elder Gina, I'll be back home later," Kim said in a cheerful voice.
"Okay, but please be careful. I'll prepare breakfast for you," Elder Gina sighed deeply.
"Thank you, Elder Gina," Kim smiled over the phone.
Kim got ready and was ready to leave.
"Aunt Molina, good morning. Thank you for accommodating me here, but I have to go now," Kim asked for her permission to leave.
"Oh, Kim, I've prepared breakfast for us. Could you please join us first before you leave?" Molina invited him.
"Thank you, Aunt Molina, but Elder Gina is waiting for me. If you don't mind, I'll come back here again. I just need to go now," Kim explained politely.
"Well, if that's the case, please be careful and come back here anytime," Molina replied.
"Thank you, Aunt Molina," Kim smiled charmingly and waved his hand.
As he was walking, he noticed something strange looking behind him. He felt like something was wrong.
In the distance, a woman wearing a black coat was staring at him. She was keeping an eye on him. Her sharp, bold eyes made Kim nervous.
Kim walked faster, but the woman still followed him. He decided to run as fast as he could to lose her, but when he turned around, she had disappeared.
He sighed deeply, as if a thorn had been pulled from his chest.
"This place is so weird," he thought. "Why do Alex and her mom still live in this kind of place? They know that a lot of ferocious animals lurk around, but they've chosen to stay here for a long time. I can't understand what they're thinking. Huh! At least the woman who was following me is gone." Kim was deeply relieved.
But just as he was about to walk away, the woman from before appeared in front of him, holding a blood-stained knife.
He was terrified, and his heart raced. He didn't know what to do.
"Please don't come towards me! Stay there!" Kim cried out in fear.
"Boy, I want some food. Could you please give me food to eat?" the woman asked in a pitiful voice.
Kim sighed deeply. He was about to piss his pants.
"Sorry, but I don't have any food right now. I was going home for breakfast. Please, if you don't mind, kindly stop staring at me like that. I'm afraid of the way you're looking at me," Kim said in a trembling voice.
Just as Kim was about to leave, the woman spoke to him wildly.
"Boy, be careful. You don't know what will happen in the next three days. It will change your lifestyle forever," the woman's voice penetrated Kim's mind. Then, when Kim turned around to clarify what she meant, she immediately disappeared.
Kim's body trembled, and he ran as fast as he could back to his house.
"Kim, you're here. Why do you look like someone was chasing after you?" Elder Gina asked when she saw Kim sweating and trembling.
"Elder Gina, I met a weird woman when I was walking home. She said to be careful in the next three days. I don't know why, but her words keep running through my head. Then, after she spoke, she disappeared like no one was there," Kim told her everything, his body still shaking.
"Kim, I've been living here for almost 30 years, and I know what happens in this place. I'll be honest with you: I don't know why your father sent you back here when he knew this place is dangerous at night. Let me tell you something, Kim: this place is a place that has never been discovered by any people."
"What do you mean, Elder Gina?" Kim's eyes widened.
"What did you mean, Elder Gina?" Kim's eyes widened.
"I mean, I heard from people before that there's a ferocious monster living in this place. Five years ago, a family was murdered by an unknown criminal. When the police examined their corpses, they found out that their body parts, like liver and heart, were missing. Someone saw a werewolf monster roaming around when the moon turned full."
Kim's eyes widened again. He didn't know if he believed in werewolves because it was only a story.
"Kim, let me tell you that please don't go outside at night," Elder Gina reminded him.
"Okay, Elder Gina," Kim agreed.
The ancient structure that had emerged from the ground was unlike anything the guardians had ever seen. Its massive stone walls were covered in intricate carvings and symbols that seemed to pulse with a life of their own. The air around it crackled with energy, and the guardians could feel a powerful force emanating from within.Alex stepped forward, her eyes scanning the structure. "This is it," she said, her voice filled with awe. "The source of the power we've been sensing."Kai nodded, gripping the supreme god relic tightly. "We need to find a way inside and discover what secrets it holds."The guardians approached the structure cautiously, their senses on high alert. As they neared the entrance, the symbols on the walls began to glow brighter, and the massive stone doors slowly creaked open, revealing a dark and mysterious interior. The group entered the structure, their footsteps echoing in the vast, dimly lit chamber. The walls were lined with ancient relics and artifacts, and t

The clan had assembled to see them off, offering their support and well-wishes. The bond between the clan members was palpable, a testament to the unity and strength they had cultivated over the years.Alex stepped forward, her gaze sweeping over the assembled group. "Today, we embark on a journey that will test our limits and push us to new heights. The first light of dawn pierced through the dense canopy, casting a gentle glow over the Gaia clan's stronghold. The clearing, still resonant with the embers of the eternal flame from the previous night, was a tranquil sight. Yet, there was an air of solemnity as the clan gathered once more, this time to witness a pivotal moment in their history.Alex stood at the forefront, her presence commanding and resolute. Beside her, Kai held the supreme god relic, its radiant glow a testament to the power and responsibility he bore. Today was the day the new guardians would take their oath, a promise to protect and serve the clan with unwavering loyalty. The chosen guardians, a group of the clan's finest warriors and most promising young members, stood in a semi-circle around the eternal flame. The murmur of the gathered clan members
The night was calm, the stars twinkling overhead like ancient guardians watching over the Gaia clan. The recent battles had taken a toll on everyone, but they had emerged stronger and more united than ever before. As the clan settled into a period of relative peace, Alex and Kai found themselves reflecting on the journey that had brought them here.Alex stood near the central fire pit, where a large bonfire blazed, casting a warm glow over the clearing. The fire, a symbol of their enduring spirit, flickered and danced, its flames reaching skyward. It had been kept burning since the end of the last great battle, a testament to their resilience and hope.Kai approached, his face illuminated by the firelight. "Mother, this flame... it's more than just a fire. It's a symbol of everything we've fought for."Alex nodded, her eyes fixed on the flames. "Yes, Kai. It's a reminder that as long as we have hope and courage, we can overcome any challenge. The eternal flame represents our spirit, ou
In the aftermath of their hard-won victory, the Gaia clan began the slow process of rebuilding. The land, scarred by battle and soaked with the blood of both heroes and foes, needed time to heal, just as they did. The sky above was clear and blue, a stark contrast to the darkness they had faced, and the clan members worked tirelessly under its serene expanse, their hearts heavy with loss but buoyed by hope.Alex stood at the edge of the clearing, her eyes surveying the bustling activity around her. Everywhere she looked, there were signs of renewal. The younger members of the clan were tirelessly hauling stones, rebuilding homes, and tending to the wounded. The elders shared stories and wisdom, ensuring that the legacy of their struggle and the sacrifices made would not be forgotten.Kai, now fully embracing his role as the leader and wielder of the supreme god's power, moved among the clan with a quiet authority. His presence was a source of inspiration and strength for all. He had gr

The power of the supreme god coursed through him, a reminder of both his responsibility and his strength.Standing at the edge of the clearing, Alex watched her son with pride. The journey they had undertaken had been arduous, filled with loss and pain, but it had also forged them into stronger beings.
