Chapter 20: In Which He Reveals
"Oh my god what happened!" she exclaimed out rushing to his side.
He was on the bed, shirtless, with a white bandage wrapped around his abdomen and a little blood peaking out from the left side.
He knew she was going to freak out as much as he didn't want her to, it was inevitable even though he had gone through a lot worse.
She was by his side inspecting him in no time as her eyes glassed over with tears at the sight of him hurt.
"Hey, it's okay it's okay. I am alright no need to freak out" He said sitting up a little straighter with effort as he took a hold of her hand to calm her down as best as he could.
"No you're not t..there is b..bandages b..blood... how?" she asked looking him up and down for more injuries but found none to her relief.
"Sit baby" he said pulling her close and making her sit at his side which she did with care as to not aggravate his injury.

It was yet again one of those days where Alexnder was nowhere to be seen the whole day because of him being away on another one of those missions and Isla had an incredibly boring day.She wanted to see him as soon as possible at night so she decided to just have dinner with at the pool house, have whatever he was gonna have, hence, she retired to her room earlier than usual without dinner and got ready to sneak out to see her boyfriend.As usual, almost like second nature she stepped on the nearest branch of the tree out of the window and got a wise grip on the one above, then she placed her right foot on the branch below the one she was on, this one was a little less thicker than the one she was already standing on.
