Chapter Five

Alice POV

It's been three days since we landed here. Three days of running around trying to get a dress, do my pedicure and manicure, and also do a full body wax.

Silver made me do all this. She insisted and I just couldn't say no. Left to me I'd have just preferred to get a jumpsuit. The marriage isn't worth it, I just wanted everything to be over already.

I picked a wedding dress yesterday and as I kept staring at the cloth, I became nervous. It was happening and there was nothing I could do about it. I thought about going to my father to convince him but I knew I couldn't. It would just be a waste of time.

I looked at my room which was covered with different clothes and shoes laying around. My room was a disaster but I didn't care.

I looked at my fingers that were painted white and I loved them. My legs were smooth because of the waxing but my whole body felt like it was on fire.
