Liam's POV

Alice just left our house with her father. I dislike the old man with fiber in my body. He was a dirty player and a dubious man. Weirdly, the strong and beautiful woman I met today is his daughter.

I heard the news about her that she was able to bring back integrity to her father's mafia which was now hers. I didn't believe it, it's one of the reasons I decided to see her.

I knew she'd be mad at me for missing breakfast but I just wanted to see how she'd react. And I was impressed with her response. She was calm, collected, and calculative. I expected her to jump at me when she saw me but I realized that she wasn't like one of those barbies that love to cling to me.

"What do you think about her?" I heard my father ask. "She's fine," I replied.

"Fine? Can't you see that you are about to marry one of the strongest women in this world? I'm glad that you at least like her but don't you dare gut it up." He spat out. And with that, he left.
