Immediately after class, Andrew hurried back to Jamin’s apartment.

He wasn’t angry about how cold Jamin had been that morning. He understood it. Heartbreak made people sharp and closed-off.

He just wished Jamin would get over that man soon, and he intended to help him do that.

When he reached the unit, the door was unlocked again.

Seriously?

Did heartbreak completely erase basic caution?

Andrew stepped inside and stopped. Fresh bottles sat on the table and floor. The sou

  • Save Me, Mister   CHAPTER 169: That house

*LEONARDO* I first met Julius when I was seven and he was sixteen. He was old enough to know better. Old enough to understand that whatever my mother had done was not something a child could carry. He did not care. My memories of my mother were thin now, more feeling than clear pictures. I remember a woman who was always tense, always calculating. Becoming a mistress was one thing. Trying to force her way into the legal wife’s place was another. That did not excuse my father either. He was a scum who made vows he never intended to keep. My mother put me in advanced classes before I was ready. Tutors rotated through the house. Violin. Piano. Other instruments I did not ask to learn. I was not allowed to simply be a child. If she could have forced me to grow up overnight, she would have. She needed me to greatly impress my father. On phone calls with my father, she would boast that I was a genius, that I was useful, that I was wor

  • Save Me, Mister   CHAPTER 168: Self-loathing

The conference hall was too quiet for a room full of people. Slides glowed on the large screen at the front: mock-ups, campaign timelines, proposed taglines for the new product launch. A junior marketing lead stood beside the projector remote, voice already thinning as he walked through the first concept. Everyone else sat rigid in their chairs, eyes fixed forward, as if the wrong blink might draw attention. Leonardo sat at the head of the table. He had not taken off his jacket. He had not touched the water in front of him. He only watched, expression carved into something cold and impatient, while the presenter finished the opening pitch. “That is the weakest opening I have heard in months,” Leonardo said the moment the man paused. “If this is what you consider market positioning, you should not be in this room.” The presenter swallowed. “Sir, the… the data from the focus groups…” “The data is irrelevant if the idea itself is garbage.”

  • Save Me, Mister   CHAPTER 167: The right thing

*LEONARDO* I stood by the window and watched Jamin get into the car. The second it pulled away, something in my chest tore sideways. The weakness hit so hard I had to sit down, fingers locked together until the joints ached. My hands were still unsteady from the crash and the panic that came after it.I did the right thing. He would be fine… he would be free.****************** “I told him the card was mine, but he still wouldn’t take it,” Gary reported after dropping him off. I hadn’t meant a single word I said to Jamin tonight. I needed him to hate me. If he hated me, he would forget me faster and move on with his life.I already knew he wouldn’t take the other card either. It didn’t matter. He would figure something out. He was a strong kid. I exhaled hard. My chest still felt tight, like the air never fully reached the bottom of my lungs.Gary stepped closer. “Mr Madrigal…” “Get out.”With a sigh, he left. I stayed where I was, stari

  • Save Me, Mister   CHAPTER 166: Fear

OVER A MONTH EARLIER…*LEONARDO* “Hello, brother.”That irritating voice. I glanced back and saw Julius standing a few steps away, hands in his pockets like this was casual. I wasn’t in the mood for his pointless games. My only thought was getting home. I ignored him and reached for the door handle. “Rushing home to Jamin, are we?”My hand stopped on the metal. That name did not belong in his mouth. I turned slowly. The parking lot suddenly felt quieter. My pulse started climbing before I fully understood why. Julius smiled. “I’ve thought about so many ways to do this. Should I snatch him from school myself? Should I let others handle it? In the end, I decided I needed to see your face first. More than anything, I’ve always enjoyed watching you break.” “You…” “What? Did I hit a nerve?” His eyes brightened. “Look how low you’ve fallen. You actually love someone. Did you forget? You don’t deserve any of that.” My thoughts scattered hard.

  • Save Me, Mister   CHAPTER 165: The night we met

Andrew leaned down, close enough that Jamin’s breath brushed his mouth. He wanted to close the last inch. His body was already tight with need, hard and impatient… he just wanted… he needed…He stopped, taking a long breath in and a longer one out. Rushing this would ruin everything. Jamin’s heart was still somewhere else. The fact that he felt safe enough to fall asleep here was already progress. Forcing anything now would only push him away. Andrew straightened, jaw tight, and walked to the bathroom. He took care of the need himself, moaning out Jamin’s name, forehead pressed to the cool tile when it was over.Soon, he told himself.Very soon, Jamin would be completely his.****************************************** *JAMIN* It was Friday night and we were at an arcade. The private karaoke room was loud and warm. Everyone else was already deep into the playlist… fast songs, shouted choruses, the kind of music that was supposed to leave no space f

*JAMIN* “Stand up. I didn’t bring you to the beach just so you could lie in the sand,” Andrew said. More like dragged me here. And I preferred lying down. “Come on. Let’s do something else. We can walk along the water, get something cold to drink, maybe try those paddle boards over there.” I sighed and kept my eyes on the sky. “What do you think Mister’s doing right now?”Andrew face-palmed himself. “Oh God.” “I wonder if he thinks about me at all.” “He doesn’t,” Andrew said flatly, dropping down beside me. “He’s probably with his dozens of playthings.” The thought of other people touching Mister made my skin crawl. “But some things were only for me and him,” I said quietly. “Would he do those things with them too? Let them hug him whenever they wanted?” “Yep.” “Let them call him by his name?” “Absolutely.” “Bring them to his house? Share the same room with them?” “Yeah.” Andrew’s voice stayed even. “I’m sorry,

*JAMIN* “Have you seen Caesar lately?” My co-worker, Frank asked as we both lifted bottles crates from a truck and into the warehouse. “No.”Then again, I really haven’t seen him in months. Caesar used to work some part time gigs with Frank and I. “I had found it suspicio

  • Save Me, Mister   CHAPTER 5: To show you

*LEONARDO* Jamin scurried back a bit and hurriedly explained, still on his knees. “I…I…it’s been awhile since my last master and I haven’t done it with anyone ever since. So my skills are a bit lacking…”I shut my eyes briefly in frustration. I had no time to teach anyone anything rig

  • Save Me, Mister   CHAPTER 4: The safe word

*LEONARDO* My new pet checks all my boxes. Sure I knew some of these submissives on the apps were mainly into this because of the money and I don’t mind playing at all.But for my moral code, one must be a masochist to be with me. I needed them to be able to take all the pain I give. H

*JAMIN* The mister?Mister what?Should I ask what his name was?I suddenly couldn’t find my voice. Calmly, he pulled out a chair and sat down opposite to me. “Let’s eat first.” He began and pressed a button. Two waitresses came around. “What will you like to eat, Jam
