Connor’s POV

She finally asked the right question. Yes, she asked several ones that all led to the main one. She got it right. My control? Gone. I barely stopped myself earlier in the clinic, and now this Alpha could no longer pull himself from his mate.

“Let’s just say someone destined us for each other.” I smirked at her.

She squirmed, rolling her eyes. “Seriously? You’re going to spout that ‘destined’ bullshit?”

Smelling her arousal, I flattened myself against her harder. “It’s not ‘bullshit’. I just can’t go into more details with you yet.”

Lili shoved at my chest and begged me with anger in her eyes. “Please back off of me. This is school, not a whorehouse.”

I chuckled, breathing through my mouth, trying not to smell her excitement. She said no, but she meant yes, she just didn’t know why yet. Her lykos was affecting her, even without being created.
