A Bad Dream

I ran as fast as I could, even though my ankle hurt. I didn’t scream anymore; I was afraid Noah or Jade might hear it instead of someone else.

Liza kept calling my name, but I didn’t dare to look back, and I turned to the right side when suddenly, I was pushed back by a strong force, making me stumble on the floor.

“Ugh!” I whimpered.

I looked up, and my eyes filled with surprise. “E-Elias,” I whispered his name.

“Help me,” I begged and looked at my back. I could hear Liza’s footsteps. Good thing I made a turn, but unfortunately, I bumped into his broad hard chest.

“Please…” I stared into his eyes, “get me out of here. She’s coming,” I said, and I knew he could feel how my body trembled in fear.
