They took time to plan out the mission like any other. Prez asked Jackie all kinds of questions about the area and the bar they met at. He also contacted the local chapter for backup. The team planned out the details and were ready to go.

Jackie was scared and she didn't want any of them to get hurt because of her. She thought about trying to sneak away and meet with Charles by herself. She thought it would save the team and her brother.

But when it came to actually going through with it, she was too afraid. She didn't know how she'd even get away, and the thought that Charles would hurt her brother anyway was in the back of her mind. She also knew she'd be signing her death warrant.

They took a private jet to her old neighborhood. It was logged under a corporation and no details given out for anyone to find out it was them. The local chapter was waiting with a couple black vans with blacked out windows for them. They'd take them to their clubhouse.

Then they'd put their plan into action. Soldier was furious they were allowing Jackie to come along. He was afraid things would go bad and he wouldn't be able to save her and her brother. He knew his team was good, one of the best in the country. But that didn't make it a sure thing they'd all come out unharmed.

After everyone was in place, Prez signaled for Jackie to drive to the bar. Her hands were shaking so bad she had to grip the steering wheel tightly. She hadn't eaten anything in a while and was glad she hadn't. Otherwise, she'd be pulling over to throw it up.

She finally pulled into the bar parking lot. It took her a couple minutes to get up her courage to get out of the car. She immediately saw one of Charles’s buddies standing at the door. She quietly murmured about him being there. They had her wired for sound and video. To the normal eye, you'd never see it.

She kept walking, and the guy held the door open for her. She ignored him as she walked by. But she could see his nasty smirk. Her hopes were that the team would take him out with Charles. Jail was too good for any of them.

Jackie walked over to the bar. She ordered a drink. Liquid courage was desperately needed. Her skin started to crawl and the hair on the back of her neck stood up. He was near she knew it. A couple of seconds later, Charles sat down on the bar stool beside her.

"Well look what the cat drug in." Charles laughed.

"Where's my brother?" She demanded not looking at him.

"Close by." He answered.

"Going back on the deal already?" She asked.

"Nah, just making sure you weren't pulling any shit. Making sure you came alone like you were ordered to." He smirked.

"Well here I am. Now let my brother go." She demanded.

"Well see it's like this. He's my leverage to make you mind. I let my leverage go, and what's to stop you from running away again?" He asked.

"I won't go with you until he's released and I see with my own eyes." She fumed.

"You don't have a choice." He ordered.

He scooted closer to her to show her the gun he had in his jacket pocket. She knew he wouldn't keep his word. Luckily, they planned for this.

"What's one gun against oh say 6 or 20 maybe?" She raised an eyebrow finally looking at him.

"You're bluffing. You don't have any help." He retorted.

"Are you sure? Willing to bet your life on it? Because I brought protection. If my brother or me don't walk out of here then you and all your little lackies are all dead men walking." She retorted. "Look at my face. Do I look like I'm bluffing?"

She could see him hesitate. For the first time in knowing him, she could actually see doubt in his eyes, and maybe a little fear. Inside she was barely holding it together. But all that mattered is that he didn't see that. She lifted her necklace.

"Smile you're on candid camera. Mind stating your full name for the record?" She demanded.

"You fucking bitch! Your brother is dead. Then your mother, and then you'll be last. I'll draw out your pain long as I can." He spat then grabbed her necklace and yanked it off.

"That's not the only one. Don't look now, but there are others here with me." She warned.

She looked over to the end of the bar. Prez saluted her. Then she looked over to a table behind her. Radar saluted her. Then she looked to the opposite end of the bar. Tracker saluted her.

"And that's just the ones in plain sight. So, if you want to live her with your life, I suggest you get my brother here asap!" She demanded.

Charles grabbed his phone. "Bring her brother in."

Charles pushed the gun into her side. "Soon as you see him here, we walk out. Or I shoot you where you sit. Then put a bullet in his head. The guys have instructions to kill him if we don't walk out."

"Soon as I know he's here safe with one of my guys, I'll leave with you." She agreed.

A few minutes later she saw her brother walk in the door. Charles had a firm grip on her arm keeping her tight against him and the gun pressed into her side. Her brother walked over to her.

"What have you done?" He begged.

She motioned for Radar to grab her brother and take him to safety. Her brother struggled, but she begged him to stop. Her look said please trust me. He finally stopped fighting and went with Radar. Then she stood up and walked with him to the door.

Once they stepped outside, Soldier grabbed Charles and the gun. While a couple of the other charter guys grabbed Jackie and shoved her into one of the vans. It was pure agony waiting for Soldier to come back to her. What felt like hours was only a few minutes before her brother joined her.

Then the van took off for the clubhouse. "Wait no! Where's Soldier?" She demanded.

"Our orders were to get you and your brother and get to the clubhouse asap." One guy explained.

They got to the clubhouse, and then took her and her brother inside. They had their doctor look her brother over. Luckily it was all just bruises and superficial cuts. Nothing major and no broken bones.

The wait for the guys to return was excruciatingly long. When they finally walked into the clubhouse, Soldier was the last one through the door. Jackie bolted up and ran to him throwing herself into his arms.

"I was so scared! No one would tell me anything! I didn't know if he hurt you or what was going on." She cried.

"Shhh, baby don't cry. It's ok. It's over. You'll never worry about him again. I promise." Soldier soothed.

He loved looking up history on some of the pawn items. He watched Preacher haggle prices with people wanting to pawn stuff. It was slower pace than the bar, but truly he had been burnt out from the bar for a while. He really had never felt truly home or family with the Knight's MC. He'd always have their back and they'd have his, but he just felt something was missing.A month went by, and Addie would join him at the Pawn shop most days and Edge would only let her sit behind the counter or in the office. Prez sighed. "I understand your frustration and anger at the situation. You have my word we will handle it. I've had some rooms made ready for you and your family. I'll have one of the brothers to show you where they are as I'm sure you want to get back to the hospital to see your daughter."Levi stood and nodded. Edge walked back into the room. He nodded to Prez and Levi. The others left the room understanding Edge needed to talk to them privately."I should have paid more attention and realized Addie had something bothering her. I take full responsibility for that. I love Addie with everything that I am. She's my forever. I love her enough to do what's right for her. I realized today that she's unhappy here. Her happiness means everything to me." Edge explained."What are you saying?" Prez asked."Her going back home is what's best for her. And I want to go with her.
