MAYA POV

“I need to speak with you.” I raised my head from the screen in front of me and my gaze landed on Malcolm. He was in a white shirt dress and the sleeves had been rolled up to his elbow.

“Why?” i asked with my right brow raised. We were currently at work and it was clear that we shouldn’t be talking to each other yet he was in my cubicle, asking to speak to me.

“Just come out here will you?” he said and started to leave but i crossed my hands over my chest and answered.

“No.” he stopped and turned back to me with a sigh.

“Maya, it’s really important,” he added but i didnt budge, instead i stared at him. It was almost two p.m and i hadn’t seen him today, not back at the gym nor at the elevator.

“Mr. Malcolm, what brings you here?” Mary asked cheerily as she skidded over to Malcolms side, his disdain was replace with a ligther expression that made me raise my brow even more.
