Ethan POV

Stefan leaned in, his breath heavy with the scent of coffee. “So, I’m listening. What’s your excuse, kiddo?” That smug smirk never left his face.

I couldn't help but cough, as I glared right back at him, “My excuse?” I paused, letting out a soft cough, “Is that I'm like every normal kid in this school who actually has exams and are now doing the late night joint tutorials with their course mate.”

I swallowed my breath, my eyes still on his unwavering, hoping the jerk would believe my lie.

He gave a short hum, before pulling back a little, finally giving me space to breathe in free air, which was as slim as the ray of hope I had in him to change.

“Never took you for the studious type,” he said, a lazy grin spreading as he turned toward his discarded clothes. “Especially for something you couldn’t care less about.”

My eyes fell right on that perfect sculptured body of his, which somehow still always left me speechless when I lay eyes on him.
