Malric

“How did you know?” Alpha Edwin asked and picked a cigarette out of a golden case.

The guard behind him leaned over and lit it for him, then bowed and walked out of the room. He dragged on his cigarette and then offered the case to me. At first, I thought about turning it down, but the rich scent of tobacco was quite alluring. I picked out a cigarette, he leaned over and lit it for me.

“Hallowell has never won a race. You came in, you said Hallowell would win, and he did,” he sat back and squinted at me through the faint cloud of smoke that rose above his face, “how did you know?”

“Your Beta also said Hallowell would win, why did you doubt him?”

He shrugged, “Like I said, Hallowell always comes second best.”

“I had a hunch,” I replied and rose to my feet, allowing the smoke to curl out of my nostrils, “my hunch is never wrong.”

He chuckled wryly, “I wish your hunch had come in earlier. It would have saved me forty five pieces of silver.”

“We haven’t met officially, Alpha

AlruinI wish I could say that I was drunk at that point, but I wasn’t.I knew exactly what I was doing, groaning and pushing my butt against his hips as he bent me over the table again, thrusting even harder. I gripped the edges of the table hard and when another hot wave of pleasure shot through my body, my knees wobbled, the vibration made my legs shake and I scattered the arranged documents and even a few bottles fell from the table, clattering onto the floor. “Fuck,” Malric groaned, his strong arms held my waist firmly in place. His strokes were neat, hard, deep, driving me into delirium. A white light flashed in my eyes a couple of times and for a moment, I only felt pain the deeper his dick went. Sweat dripped from my body to the table and when Malric’s groans grew louder, his thrusts faster and uncontrolled, I knew that he was at the brink of another climax. I reached out and held his hand, signalling for him not to pull out. The gushy rush of warm liquid squirted once again

AlruinHe squinted at me and asked gently, “Are you sure?”I scoffed wryly and shook my head, “I am not sure about anything at all, Malric. Not you staying, not what I’m doing or going to do, or what the future holds.” “No one knows what the future holds, Alruin.”“Yet others seem to know what mine holds,” I replied sharply, “they tell me things about myself…things I never knew, none of it adds up.” I sighed and just shook my head grimly. “I don’t expect you to know a thing or two about that anyway. You have everything planned out for you, you always have.”He chuckled lightly, even though I had been expecting that to offend or annoy him, “Maybe you’re right though. Maybe I do have everything planned out, but that doesn’t make my future any more certain than yours. Having a path planned out makes it more difficult to follow, it tenders more room for rebellion,” he replied, “and I think I am at that stage.” I arched a brow at him, “What do you mean? You have everything you’ve ever w

Alruin She felt excited to talk about her late son, as if she had spoken to no one about him in years. He’d died eight years ago when he and Lorak had just been young, reckless adults in love. I struggled to picture Lorak in the way she portrayed him. Immature, adventurous, outspoken and very witty; that wasn’t the side of Lorak I had come to meet. It felt like I didn’t know him any more with such insight into his past. “They were head over heels in love with each other,” she smiled, although her sunken eyes were hazy and distant. “Lorak would always skip his Beta classes and even combat training. He’d show up at my house instead, waiting for his mate and together, they’d run out into the open field. The times they spent together were always so adventurous and daring. Lorak cared little for his responsibilities as the Beta; my son was his priority. Well, until the incident.” I leaned in closer, “What happened?” I asked softly.“Silvermoon wasn’t as formidable then as it is now,

Alruin We got into the bedroom and Lorak acted as if everything was normal. But I knew better. I knew that when he wrapped his arms around me, he had done that with the intention of not showing affection, but showing it off. That was so unlike him and I was honestly shocked. “Do you want a drink? Apple juice maybe?” he asked and chuckled.“I can drink alcohol, Lo, I’m not a child,” I replied sternly and refused to bottle it up any longer, “What was that, Lo? Out there with Malric. Why did you do that?”He squinted at me in confusion, “Do what, Alruin?”I frowned at him, “Lorak, do not play that card, okay? You are not so touchy in public but you were all over me like flies on a sugar cube in front of Malric. Why? I told you that there’s nothing between us and you have absolutely nothing to worry about. We’re establishing a bond in the next two days, Lorak. Isn’t that enough proof for you?” “Alruin,” he sighed, a rueful look in his eyes, “Look, I’m sorry if I made you feel un

  • Scarred By My Alpha   Chapter 47

AlruinI was swarmed by an eerie feeling.Everywhere I turned seemed to harbor shadows that hid a secret or two about me. The world knew something about me that I had no idea about. It terrified me for some reason, having others tell me about myself. What did they know anyway? What did they mean by the words they uttered? I never believed in sorcery, only the goddess and the powers we werewolves possessed, but after what I saw in that forest… Those creatures were not normal and Malric was right, they had to be controlled. Mind control? It was possible, but that was only confirming something I have never believed in. I headed to a secluded spot in the grasslands, it was a cliff that stood alone, with a soft grass coating its hard rocks that provided a comfortable cushion which Lorak and I usually sat and watched the sun set or rise. I knew that whenever he was done with the meeting, he would come here to look for me first. I watched the pale red glow the sun left in the clouds as i

Lyra“Have you made contact with Malric?”He scoffed and threw the last twig into the fire, “Like you give a fuck.”I rolled my eyes with a deep sigh, “If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be asking, Draven.”He frowned and rose to his feet. “This evening’s training camp is only for the army, I have no idea what you’re doing here,” he glanced at Eli who stood behind me, “unless, you plan to enroll your mountain of a man into our forces.” I sighed and waved Eli away. “See? He’s gone now,” I replied and sat down on the huge fallen branch in front of the fire, “Like it or not, Draven, we both have very similar interests at heart. Good intentions for the betterment of both of our people. I see no reason why there should be a divide between us.”He scoffed again, “Oh, like anyone ever knows your intentions.”“To unite our packs,” I replied, staring into the fire, “to make sure that my people do not starve and to make sure yours are well protected. I want what’s best for Darkmoon, you want what’s bes
