A frail heart

Mariam absent mindedly walked down the hall from her room heading to the garden through the back door, the garden in this part of the palace was private and secluded, it was the only one in which only she and her father were allowed into save for the gardener who came in here once a week to care for and maintain the place. Today wasn't one of those days that the gardener was supposed to show up so she knew she would be alone. She wanted to be alone.
