SARA’S POV

This morning I asked for Layla to come and see me. Everything that happened yesterday was old news to me and I wanted to get to know her as a person without the incident being a factor.

I am the Luna and like it or not I had to build a relationship with the members of this pack. It was part of my duties as the Luna. I asked her to show me around the pack, she looked annoyed by my request, but she did not refuse.

She showed me the pack hospital, the orphanage, and their beautiful garden. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. It had all kinds of flowers and the scents of them were amazing.

I decided then that I would go there whenever I wanted to be alone and think. The place was serene, and I loved the feeling it gave me. “This is nice Layla, do you come here often?” I asked trying to make small talk.
