KANE’S POV

For the past couple of days Sara kept her distance from me but I could still see her work. She has been performing her Luna duties and sticking to the contract. Layla was released from the hospital the second day.

Logan says she has scars, but she will live. He tells me that the pack now respects their Luna just like she wanted. He says she spends her days in the orphanage when she is not in the packhouse.

He told me that she started a gardening project with the orphans and that they are enjoying it. He told me that in the morning she would train with them then go for a run before bringing them all back to the packhouse for breakfast. As if there is no food at the orphanage.

She would then do her duties then spend the rest of the day in the flower garden. I liked that she kept her distance, but it was now getting to me. I missed seeing her and she has been avoiding me at every turn.
