SARA’S POV

To say I was shocked would be an understatement. How could he say something like that? It must be a lie, something he said to convince me to go with him. How despicable can the royal family be, how despicable can he be?

“What did you say?” asked Kane now on his feet looking down on the prince, which was every bit disrespectful on his part, but I did not think he cared about that.

“When I got to the northern border of your pack and smelled her scent, I knew she was mine. My beast and I followed her into the battlefield. Why do you think I went crazy and ended that damn battle? I wasn’t about to sit back and watch my mate getting injured or killed by mere werewolves.”

Now that pissed me off, I was still a werewolf, what the hell was he trying to say? No wonder they don’t care what happens in the packs and only throw money at them.
