KANE’S POV

Night fell with me glued to my window waiting for another delivery like the man said. Logan examined the note, but it gave us nothing. No prints, no DNA, nothing, and that just drained me.

I didn’t know which of the two enemies we have took her. it could be anyone of them but in order for me to take action, I need to know who I am taking action against.

I just hope that they did not harm her wherever she is, she is pregnant for Goddesses sake! I felt so useless just standing there.

All the money, the power, and warriors I had but none of them could do anything for me at this point. All of it just seemed useless.

It was dark out, but I still stood on that window with my eyes strained to the gate. I would be alert just by someone passing the gate and when I see one of my warriors patrolling, I would get angry and scold them as If they are the ones at fault.

At least they knew what was going on and they too were on alert looking out for anything and anyone. It was stress
