KANE’S POV

I was scared out of my mind when I saw Dimitri, I never thought I would see this man again. When I last saw him was when I was eighteen, back when I didn’t get my wolf when I was supposed to.

When I left the pack feeling useless and alone. When my parents did nothing to reassure me when the whole pack turned it’s back on me. The first person I met when I got there was him.

I met him in a club I was working in, I didn’t know he owned it when I got hired and then he came in one night. He was surrounded by beautiful women hanging on his arms.

I could see he was rich just by the clothes he wore, they were expensive, and I wanted to be just like him. Since I could not have the pack then I could at least build a life for myself far away from those who turned their backs on me.

I didn’t talk to him, the first day there was no chance to but the second time he came around, I served him his drink. When he was leaving, I followed him outside.
