Jason’s POV

Later that afternoon, I summoned Roy, my top warrior, and Henry, my trusted beta, into the war chamber.

Henry arrived first. I found him lounging casually against the edge of the map table, arms folded across his chest. “What is this about, Alpha?” he asked.

“Plans for the future,” I replied, and Henry nodded.

Roy arrived a few minutes later. We heard his heavy steps before he entered the chamber. His gray-streaked hair was combed neatly back, and he wore the black uniform of Shadow

I don’t even get to finish the chapter before an ad pops up. This is so frustrating. Then I have to watch another ad to read next chapter.

I’m thinking Henry isn’t going to live very long because Roy knows that he doesn’t trust him OR Viki so if he’s caught following her and finds out that she’s not really pregnant I’m sure Henry will have an “accident” before he can tell Jason!!

Okay if I remember correctly Roy the head warrior is Vikis father and his reason for pushing the Luna ceremony is because he KNOWS she’s not pregnant so he’s hoping to get her the title before idiotic Jason figures out it was all a ploy!!
