Chapter 3

It was evening, everyone was sitting in the courtyard. "Lily, when are you going for the interview? " Grandpa asked her, cleaning his spectacle and putting back on his eyes, slidded little down on his nose. " Next monday may be. "she said, " Actually, i have applied in two companies. So, who will get back to my response, i will go there first for the interview."

Parth was busy in playing game in Lily's phone. " Parth give me my phone back."she said, " I need to call mummy, where she is till now, not reached home. " Whenever her mother got late, she became worried for her.

Parth returned her phone and went upstairs. He was relaxed today, no any worry of completing homework because tomorrow it was holiday and day after tomorrow, it was sunday.He was lazing around in his room and his balcony. His balcony was near the one of the room's balcony of the tall building. Anyone could easily come from that balcony to his balcony. Parth used to sit in the balcony in the night and look at the moon and the stars, one of his hobbies.

He finished his dinner early. He was much tired because of practicing basketball. He went to his bed and flaked out.

Continuous honking almost tore his eardrums and his sweet sleep. " Oh! what's this sound? "he closed his ears with his hands , trying to sleep little more but still couldn't resist the sound, piercing his ear.

He came out in his balcony, yawning and rubbing his eyes. ' An audi suv and one Mercedes Benz were parked in the compound of that building. 8-10 persons, holding big-big boxes were unloading from a big vehicle and taking those boxes inside the house.

He came down in the courtyard, where grandma was brushing her teeth near a tap. It was holiday in his mother's office too. So, she was sitting on a chair, reading newspaper. Rarely, she could do that because of office. A cup of tea was kept on a table in front of her.

" Good morning grandma, good morning mummy. " Parth greeted them.

" Did you forget Parth, today there is no school. " Lily said, " How did you wake up so early on holiday? "she giggled.

" Don't tease him. "as usual always favouring his grandson, grandma said, " come here and tell me why did you wake so early today? "

" It's nothing grandma, the car honked so loudly, disturbed my sleep." Parth said.

" Yes,they are shifting here today. "putting the newspaper aside on the table,his mother said, " I heard they are very rich but very nice and kind. "

" It's always blessing to get nice and helpful neighbour. " she said further, thanking God for this.

"Parth, go and get fresh. Today we will have breakfast together. Your Pa would be coming back from his morning walk. " his mother told him and went to kitchen for helping his sister.

Parth went upstair. He was still feeling dizziness. So, he went in the balcony for getting fresh air. He saw a beautiful girl, probably of his age, running after a Bernese mountain dog of black colour with white and orange patches.

"Rocky, come here. Don't run around." she said.

" So,the dog name is Rocky."Parth thought.

Parth loved dog, always wanted to have it as his pet but grandpa didn't allow him.

When she reached near him, Rocky jumped over her and ran away. Parth bursted out laughing so loud. She looked at him from her compound.

She waved her hand and said," Hi! I am Isla, your new neighbour. "

Parth also waved his hand, " Hello! Myself Parth. "

" They are friendly too." he thought.

" Isla, bring Rocky inside." a boy called her.

" Who's he? " Parth asked.

"He is Ryan. My elder brother." she said and smiled. She held Rocky in her arm and weng inside.

Parth could not see his face. " Smiley, come fast for the breakfast." his grandma called him from the downstair.

He moved inside immediately, freshened up, brushed his teeth and came down for the breakfast.

After breakfast, Parth went to her grandma. " Grandma, give me your phone. I"ll play game. "he said.

His grandpa looked at him but grandma winked her eye, not to say anything to him.

" It's in my room. Go and take." grandma told him. He went in her room, took the phone and walked into his room, dragged a chair in the balcony, sat on it and started playing game.

" Isla, this will be my room. It's balcony is airy. I love it. "Ryan said and came in the balcony.

Parth looked at him. He was so manly, handsome and smart. His face was very charming and attractive. Parth stared at him for a moment and raised his hand to say ' hi! ' but Ryan didn't notice him. He enjoyed the breeze there for few minutes and went inside.

" How rude he is! " Parth felt embarrassed at his ignorance.

Isla came in the balcony. She looked at Parth and smiled.

" Playing game? " she asked.

" Yeah" Parth replied.

" Which game? "

" It's pokemon go. "Parth replied her next question.

" I love it too. " she said, " Okay! Talk you later." She said and went inside and close the door.

" She is so friendly but why he is so arrogant." Parth thought.

Parth played game for an hour and came downstair to give back grandma's phone. Lily was in her room, preparing for her interview. His mother was taking nap in her room. He looked around but grandpa was not there.

" Where is pa? "he asked. "He went to visit his friend. " Stretching her leg, grandma replied.

" After lunch, i'll go for practice. "Parth said.

" Which time? " she asked.

" Around 3 o'clock. Till five, i'll come back. "Parth said.

" Okay! "his grandma agreed.

Parth moved to his room and laid down on his bed for a nap. After two hours, he got up and had his lunch. He got ready and went out for the basketball practice.

Around 5 o'clock, he returned home. He went near the main gate of that building. He looked at the nameplate, " Parker and Parker's sons. "

"Oh! Owner's name is Mr. Parker" he thought.

" Whom do you want to meet? " a guard, wearing black uniform from head to toe, holding a gun on his shoulder came to him and asked.

Parth got speechless. He didn't understand what to say. He said, " Sorry. " and got inside his house.
