LOGINAlpha Ravok
Five Years Later
It's been five years, five fucking torturous years since I last felt her, since I last felt the woman who made my cold heart feel warm. “Any news about her?” I asked my Beta who'd just entered my study.
“To be sincere Alpha Ravok, even if I were a wizard, it would still be impossible to find a woman just by how soft her skin felt and how warm she made you feel, so I'm sorry, but no, I haven't!” He replied then let out a deep sigh.
He was right. My Beta was right and I fucking hated it! If my enemies had not been so smart to attack me by making me blind first on my way to a ceremony that night, I would have seen and been able to recognize her. Fuck, now I wish I had not killed those bastards who tried to get rid of me. I could have prolonged their torture, made them suffer ten times more than I was already suffering from being away from my dream woman.
And no, I didn't just leave my Beta in charge of looking for her, I had also done it myself but failed miserably. It was almost as if I had had sex with an angel who disappeared after.
“Get out! Do not stop the search until I tell you to!” I barked the other at my Beta.
“But Alpha what is the point of searching for a woman you had a one-night stand with when you've agreed to the elder's request to get a mate and marry her?”
“I don't care Ken, I don't care about the lady the elders have arranged for me. You know I only agreed to do what they wanted because I've been tired of their nagging, so whoever they bring will leave this packhouse the moment I find the woman I want!”
Speak of the devils! Just as my Beta left my study, the elders…Joseph, Ezekiel, and Felix entered. They were old men, by far older than I and at least five of my generation. In the kingdom, elders had longer lifespans than a normal wolf, including Alpha's, which was why they had great wisdom. However, being their Alpha, they didn't fail to pay respect to me. They bowed slightly and then went straight to the point.
“Alpha Ravok, after several years, we've finally found a woman who has agreed to marry and birth your child.” Elder Joseph said and a low growl left my lips. Who would be foolish enough to agree to this? To marry and mate with a man who had no heart? Who treated people like they were tools and was even rumored to have killed his parents? I fucking thought no one would be so stupid enough to do this, that was why I agreed to the elder's demand, but after five years someone did?
“Who the fuck have you arranged for me to marry?!” I snapped. Fuck, I was always so angry. But who wouldn't be?! And from the way the elders exchanged meaningful glances, I knew the fuckery had not ended. I would definitely hate what they were going to say next. “Speak!”
Elder Felix stepped forward, cleared his throat, and said, “Unfortunately for you, despite being the man every woman wants to have sex with, no one wants to risk marrying a cold, angry man like you for they fear you might get too mad one day and kill them in their sleep.”
Fair. I truly was mostly angry. It was like a curse, but she had made it different. The woman I truly wanted made me feel warm for the first time in years. She made my wolf melt in love.
“However, one lady reached out to us and offered to do it. The only problem is that she's a rejected wolf with two kids.” He whispered the last words, like he was ashamed but I had heard it loud and clear.
“What?! I barked. I thought I had heard and seen it all. That nothing on earth could surprise me, but that did the trick. Did the elders of my pack just say that an Alpha like me should settle for a rejected single mother? Wasn't this like a taboo or something?
“Are you all out of your mind?! How dare you insult me like this?!” I yelled, using my Alpha aura. It was so strong, the room vibrated.
“Alpha Ravok, we understand your delima but this is the only way. This is the only way we can get an heir from you. You almost died the last time and goddess forbid something like that happens again, and you die, we would lose a great bloodline. This woman is decent, we've assessed her already and I'm sure you'll like her.”
I laughed. Not because it was funny, but because of how ridiculous the fool who spat out such nonsense sounded. I already had a hard time connecting with people because of how angry I always felt and the fool of an elder thought I would ‘like’ a rejected single mother? What would people say? That the Alpha couldn't find a decent woman to marry and settled for a reject?!
“You fools are just lucky that you've got protection from the heavens, else I would have killed you all right here and now!” I loosened some buttons now feeling extremely suffocated. “Now listen well, send whatever bitch you've found and send her back. Look for some other woman. If you fail to do so within two months, then I do not want to hear more nonsense about me settling down.”
“I'm sorry Alpha, but we can't do that. Miss Anna and her kids are already downstairs waiting for you, we can't just send her back. However, I would plead that you check her out first and if after evaluation you still don't find her worthy, you can send her back.” Elder Ezekiel, the oldest elder and the man I respected a little finally spoke. He was the man who'd stepped up and become a father to me when I lost my parents, so even though I was angry, I decided to just do what he said, very surethat I was going to send her back.
Anna POVThe healer’s words echoed in my head over and over, like a terrible song I couldn’t escape. “R-ravok would die?” I whispered to myself, but it didn't make sense. None of this made sense. How could Ravok die because he didn’t get blessings from my kids’ father when he was practically their father. How does his not knowing change anything? Could the healer be wrong? Even if the healer was somehow correct, I couldn’t possibly tell Ravok about his kids at that moment, the betrayal would cut deep. I knew I needed a perfect moment to tell him that.My thoughts spiraled wildly as my body began to tremble. Ravok must have mistaken my fear for something else, something quite similar because he suddenly gently took my hand, his grip firm and reassuring. “Don’t worry,” he whispered. “I’m going to be fine.”But he didn’t know. He didn’t know that inside, I wasn’t comforted at all. I was breaking, trying desperately to make sense of everything before it was too late.“Is there nothin
The next morning came, and I couldn’t stop humming and dancing the moment I woke up. I was careful not to wake Ravok, because I had heard stories about how sick he might feel afterward, and I thought it was best to let him sleep for as long as he wanted. So I quietly left his room and went to check on my kids.To my surprise, they were already awake, smiling, giggling, giving me a suspicious happy look as if they somehow knew that something had changed between their father and me, and that made me blush. We played for a while, and Jayla kept teasing me, saying she saw the way her father carried me. Jayden, on the other hand, was simply happy to be feeling stronger again. “Mom, we can’t wait to go to school. Now that you have married Daddy, we can go be with kids our age.” Jaiden said after I had given him a kiss attack and Jaila nodded.I was surprised as I knew how much my kids hated school, but I was more happy than shocked. Honestly, that morning felt like a breath of fresh air
Anna POV I thought I had seen Ravok in his most hungry state, but at that moment, he was literally feral. His breathing was uneven, his chest was rising and falling, and as for me, I was trembling in anticipation. His hunger made me somehow even hungrier, and I couldn’t wait for what was going to happen next. My core clenched, and the room suddenly felt hot yet cold at the same time as his fingers traced delicate lines on my skin. Fuck, I have missed him so much! My V area burned, waiting for him to put himself inside of me. “Fuck,” Ravok growled as he inserted his fingers inside of me and brought it to his nose, taking a long, deep sniff. “You're so fucking divine.” I wrapped my hands around his neck, bringing him closer as I wanted him inside of me immediately. He understood, because a dark chuckle escaped his lips. Then he surged forward in one brutal, perfect thrust, filling me so completely I cried out against his mouth. Ravok didn’t pause, he fucked me like a man starved…
Anna POV “What is going on here?” A deep, familiar voice cut through the tension like a blade. I turned quickly, my breath catching when I saw Ravok standing a few paces away. His broad shoulders were squared, his hands casually tucked into his pockets. His expression was calm, almost lazy…but the air around him felt heavy, charged with quiet power. His eyes flicked from me to Lucas, and as if he could sense that Lucas was a bastard, his expression hardened even more. Lucas immediately straightened. Although his eyes grew wide with shock and something that looked like jealousy as he was probably surprised by how I knew Ravok, he plastered a smooth practiced smile on his face. “Oh my goodness, Alpha Ravok,” Lucas said warmly, taking a small step back. “I didn’t expect to meet such a great man here. I was just catching up with an old acquaintance. Nothing serious.”Ravok didn’t return the smile. Instead, his gaze moved back to me, slowly scanning my face as if checking whether I was h
Anna POV I thought I had everything I needed until Ravok took me to the mall and began buying things I didn't know I needed. Expensive things to be exact, and unlike before, he cleared out the entire mall so we could have privacy. The mall wasn't a typical local shopping mall, it was luxurious…I couldn't even find something that cost a hundred bucks. Most items were above five hundred dollars and though I wanted to complain about the ridiculous prices, I just let it be. Ravok was hard-headed when it came to things like this. As I sat on the couch, watching Ravok do the shopping for me, I couldn't help but smile. Tears of joy almost streamed down my face but I tried my best to hold them back in…I knew Ravok would make a big deal out of it. I was happy because it felt like my life finally had a direction, it felt like I could be happy. It was clear that Ravok cared about me, he said he didn't mind that I was a rejected wolf and he loved my kids too, so I could finally tell him the tr
Ravok POVI have never felt so at home and satisfied in my entire life. For the first time since my birth, I felt genuinely happy and content. I felt like there was nothing in the world that could make me angry again. I had not confessed my feelings to Anna yet, but letting the tall walls I had built drop, felt so uplifting. After dinner, we went to bed. She insisted on going to her room, but I made her come to mine. Funny, as I have never shared a bed with another woman. The thought of it back then annoyed me. We stayed in bed just cuddling and talking about random things until Anna eventually fell asleep. I don't know how many times I did it, but I knew I kissed her forehead several times. Goodness, saying that everything felt right was an understatement…it felt magical. It felt as though I had finally found all that I had been waiting for. And as crazy as it sounded, I couldn't wait to marry the rejected single mom. I laughed at the thought and my wolf chuckled as well. I was so
Ravok POV “Don't you hate me anymore?” For some reason, I couldn't get these words out of my head. It was a question Anna had asked earlier that evening, but as I lay on my bed, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Heck, I couldn't even answer the question which was weird because I was certain I dee
Anna POV “This is the most beautiful painting I have ever seen in my life,” I muttered to myself as I placed my hand on my chest. It was a naked painting of me, just the way I had posed that day, but it wasn't a rough sketch as he had claimed, it was very well detailed. Perfect. When did he even
Ravok POVWith my eyes closed and my hand around my length, I imagined Anna kneeling before me…a seductive smile plastered on her face as she kept her eyes on me. Slowly, she wrapped her mouth around my cock and a deep groan escaped my lips. I placed my hand on the wall, and the shower on my skin s
Anna POV I was on my way to the kitchen to prepare something for my kids to eat…a cook would assist me this time as I had found out that Ravok ordered them not to let me cook alone unless necessary. His reasons, according to the cook, were related to the stress of cooking and how that stress could
