Chapter 12: Get Married

Lily stood at the back of the church, watching as Sarah and James exchanged their vows. She tried to focus on the happiness in the room, but it was hard knowing that the man she loved was now someone else's.

"I'm so happy for them," Lily whispered to her friend who stood beside her.

"Yeah, me too," her friend replied, but Lily could sense the sadness in her voice as well. They both knew how hard it was for Lily to see James marry someone else.

As the reception began, Lily tried her best to be happy for the newlyweds. She smiled and congratulated them, but her heart was heavy. She wanted to be happy for them, but it was hard knowing that she would never have what they had.
