I can’t believe the past few months have gone by so fast. In two weeks, Nora will become my wife, and surprisingly I’m not scared. What I am scared of is the bachelor party that Gavin has planned. I told him no strippers, that it was cliché and disrespectful to Nora and he promised he wouldn’t do that to me, but he found a loophole. He rented a party bus and hired waitresses that were barely dressed, and I felt uncomfortable around women for the first time in my adult life.

I didn’t care about a bachelor party, but Gavin and Alex insisted that I have one, its traditional but I think they both wanted a reason to party.

“Shouldn’t you be at home?” I asked Alex

“Why?”

“Your baby can come at any moment.”

“I’m close enough that I can make it, why do you think I’m not drunk yet.”

I shook my head. Alex still had a lot of growing up to do and I hope the baby makes him see that.
