Chapter 35: Changing
ROSE
"Your majesty..." That voice hissed softly in my eardrums, awakening me from my deep slumber.
As my eyes fluttered open, I found myself in a place I'd been to before. The sanctuary. Everything seemed perfectly in place. And for a second confusion struck.
"I see he's marked you?" I turned to the source of the voice. She stood with white hair and a soft smile. There was something different about her though. She glowed with a ghost like aura. But it wasn't menacing and malevolent. Instead, it was warm and radiant. Soft and pure.
"Your highness!" I bowed to the moon goddess... Deamian's mom.
She gave a soft giggle, "No need for that. I should be calling you 'your majesty'" she said.
She then moved closer to me. She wasn't walking but floating slightly.
Eventually she was right in front of me.
