Chapter 4

Author: Amber Plum
As Faye and I walked along the beach, I could feel eyes turning toward us from every direction. Gazes swept freely over my body as if the men might rush over and pin me down at any moment.

That raw desire both frightened and stirred something in me, and the attention felt like a stimulant that awakened a physical reaction.

When we arrived at the meeting spot, Stevie had eagerly gone into the water for a swim. Only Gaston remained lounging on a beach chair under the sun.

When he noticed Faye

  • Secrets on the Night Train   Chapter 6

When I didn't stop Gaston, a pleased look flashed across his face as he carried me back to my room and pounced on me like a starving predator. With rough movements, he ripped my clothes and pulled me close. For the entire night, I remembered feeling like a boat swept up by tidal waves in the sea, clinging to him, rising and falling. My long-suppressed desire was finally quenched, and I felt like a parched desert revived by a downpour of relief. Gaston was every bit as powerful as I had imagined. The lean Stevie was never particularly enthusiastic about intimacy, and his performance in bed felt like he was checking a chore off the list. Six months of his lukewarm affection had considerably dimmed our spark and worn down our passion. But with Gaston, I finally reached the peak of pleasure and drifted off to a deep sleep after a night of intense passion.By the time I woke up the next morning, all traces of the night had been erased from the room."An emergency came up at the hosp

  • Secrets on the Night Train   Chapter 5

Stevie and Faye were leaning dangerously close. Perhaps it was just the distance playing tricks on my eyes, but for a moment, it almost felt like they were holding each other.I shook my head and dismissed the ridiculous thought. Faye and Stevie couldn't possibly have an affair together. The two interrupted encounters and seeing Stevie and Faye's suspicious closeness soured my earlier excitement toward the trip. By evening, my expression was completely dark."What's wrong, Vera? Did you get sick from being in the sun today?" Faye asked in concern.Stevie immediately stood up and pressed his hand to my forehead. Seeing their worried expression made me feel guilty for ever doubting them earlier that afternoon.I glanced at Gaston, who calmly ate as if nothing had ever happened. The sight irritated me more."I'm fine. It's just something from work," I replied."Are you feeling down? If you are, we should drink tonight!"Faye was a firm believer in drowning her sorrows with drinkin

Only Gaston remained lounging on a beach chair under the sun. When he noticed Faye and me approaching, I could clearly feel the way his eyes lingered on me, filled with the same admiration and hunger I had seen in every other man's gaze.Faye didn't notice his look. She had been dying to go to the sea for weeks, so she quickly kicked off her sandals and sprinted toward the waves for a swim.Suddenly, it was just me and Gaston on the sand.I wasn't much of a swimmer, so I decided to stay behind. I settled into the beach chair next to Gaston and decided to sunbathe.Without

I felt a sudden surge of heat underneath me and instinctively tried to clamp my legs shut, but Gaston suddenly wedged his knee between my thighs and stopped me from going further.Seeing the dazed look on my face, he flipped my covers and pressed his scorching body against mine. His hand traced slow circles on my back as he leaned in and gently whispered in my ear, "I'll be gentle, Vera. Just don't make a sound."Panic flared in my chest. Though I craved men, Stevie was sleeping right above us, and Faye was just inches away. If either of them stirred, our little affair would eventually come to light.I hurriedly shoved his arms. "Y-You can't! Get up! If they wake up, we're dead…""Relax. I've got you," he whispered and showed no sign of stopping. If anything, his grip tightened."Don't… It's too much… I can't…"I meant to resist, but the way his hand moved with such skill and agility weakened my shaky resolve. He knew exactly what he was doing, and Stevie could never match the se

  • Secrets on the Night Train   Chapter 2

On the first day of our trip, we arranged to meet at the train station. The four of us booked an entire private sleeper cabin.Faye and I took the lower bunks, while the two men took the top.Stevie arrived early, while I had rushed straight from the office and made my way through the heavy traffic, barely catching the train in time. I didn't have the time to change, so I had to jog through the station in my work clothes. The pencil skirt was daringly short and barely skimmed the tops of my thighs. Beneath it, sheer black fishnet stockings on my legs, paired with red, striking four-inch heels, added to my untouchable, dangerous allure.Walking through the station, I felt eyes on me. Gazes traced my curves with glaring hunger that made me nervous and electric with excitement.I knew that I was beautiful and what men would call a rare stunner. Every time I felt the heat of gazes lingering on me, a thrill rippled through my veins.I had always dreamed of being pinned down by someone

  • Secrets on the Night Train   Chapter 1

My name was Vera Stone, and I was a corporate executive. To the outside world, I was poised, aloof, and had a tall frame with curves in all the right places and a figure that turned heads. No one knew that since I was young, I had struggled with deep, strong lust desires. I was easily affected by powerful, masculine men, and sometimes just catching a scent of their cologne was enough to stir my body's reaction.I was married to Stevie Murray for half a year. Whenever we made out in bed at night, he would joke that I was made of water because we would leave the sheets soaked every single time.Stevie was a doctor with a grueling work schedule. Sometimes, he came home so exhausted that he crashed the moment his head hit the pillow. We hadn't been intimate for over two weeks.Every night, my desire built up so much that restlessness crawled under my skin. I could feel myself burning with such maddening desire that I had to fight and hold it back.Every time, I resorted to watching vi
