LOGINHazel’s P.O.V.
“One more.” I ordered in a slurred tone, putting the empty glass forcefully on the counter. “You already have enough drink, Hazel.” The bartender replied to me worriedly but poured another glass of alcohol, especially manufactured for the werewolves.
“I am so happy, Brad. It’s our alpha’s mating ceremony tonight.” I chirped with a fake smile and took the glass again.
Without even thinking once, I finished the whole glass in one go. I hissed in pain when my ribs throbbed badly because of my movement.
I don’t know how I ended up in the bar after that minor accident earlier. I managed to avoid the collision, but my car struck the side rail of the road. I wasn’t injured, but my chest hit the wheel badly, causing the wound in my ribs to resurface.
Xyla was still absent, but I was still healing better.
I almost smashed the glass against the counter this time and looked at Brad again.
“You know what? You should sell drinks on the house tonight. Come on. This is our alpha’s mating ceremony. The pack now has a luna. A big thing to celebrate.” I continued faking happiness when all I wanted to do was to scream and curse Keith with all my heart.
The pain he caused me tonight was worse than anything that I endured till now, but I know one thing very well: that Keith doesn’t deserve me.
He doesn’t deserve me, the only survivor of the White Wolf Clan, Alpha Nestor White’s daughter, Alpha Hazel White.
Brad poured me another glass without hesitation this time, and I grinned widely before taking the glass.
"All the drinks are at half-price by the alpha's orders." He told me while co*cking his brow. I smiled tightly and put the glass rim on my lips.
I finished the glass without thinking or sensing anything wrong about it but stiffened when I was about to smash the glass on the counter again.
My heart skipped a beat when his alluring scent of musk and wood hit my nostrils. Even when I was completely intoxicated, I smelled his scent among all the scents and smells around me.
“It seems that you are having your time of day, Hazel.” My jaw clenched, and I stared at Brad blankly when Keith spoke to me.
Brad was pale and slowly moved back in fear.
“Of course, Alpha. I am celebrating your mating ceremony.” I didn’t hide my disdain and sarcasm towards his mating ceremony.
I slowly moved in his direction when I felt his anger. His black eyes were still cold, but with a hint of anger now.
“What? Are you not happy?” I asked him with a fake pout, sounding wrong, but his anger thrilled me. I knew that I was sailing dangerously, but he shouldn’t have come here when he is supposed to be with his chosen mate.
He stared at me for a few seconds before chuckling. He slowly took a step towards me, but it was enough for me to sober up a little.
I felt a bit hot, which was understandable. I really had consumed so much of wolf’s alcohol.
My heart raced when he smiled sinisterly. He put both his hands on either side of me on the edge of the counter, trapping me inside it.
I was shocked to realize that his scent was still affecting me like before.
How?
He is already marked. I could see the mate mark on his neck. Although my vision was a little blurred, that mark was like a display on his neck.
“You smell so divine, Hazel. I wonder how you will taste when I will f**k you.” My heart almost stopped beating, and my eyes widened in shock and disbelief.
His face was dangerously close to me, but I was now more sober than I should have been with all that amount of alcohol in my system.
“My wolf, he is crazy about you, Hazel. Although you are worthless to us without your wolf, you are still appealing with all your curves.” I felt ants crawling all over my body when his eyes moved up and down on my body with lust evident in them.
“Get away from me, Alpha. You are a mated wolf now. You should respect and love your mate only.” I spoke to him in a hoarse and cold voice but didn’t touch him.
With the mate bond still intact and the intoxication of alcohol, I was not sure if I would be able to think rationally if I touched him.
He laughed through his chest, and that grumbling sound sent a chill through my spine. I looked around, and my eyes widened in horror when I realized that the whole bar was now empty.
I snapped my head in his direction, narrowing my eyes a little.
“You are an orphan, Hazel. Above all, a wolf-less omega. I know that the royal pack has been bouncing you from pack to pack all these years because no pack wants a wolf-less omega in their pack, a liability from the very beginning.” He spoke to me huskily, but every word coming out of his mouth was like a sharp dagger stabbed in my heart.
I found his voice disgusting, and suddenly his scent felt repulsive.
“You are lucky that I am still considering you to keep you with me as my mistress.” I swore that I had never heard anything more disgusting than this.
“You….. you want me to be your mistress?” I asked him in disbelief, and his smile went wide.
“I am your fated mate.” I screamed at him, and I didn’t know from where I got the strength to push him hard after pressing my hands on his chest.
He stumbled backward and growled angrily.
“I don’t give a sh*t about a worthless thing like you, Hazel. It’s my wolf. If I want him to be strong, he needs to mate with his fated mate first before I bang any other she-wolf tonight. So, be a good girl, and come with me. Be my mistress and enjoy a life of luxury that you will not get at any time in your life.” He spat on me, disgust filled in his voice, and yet he spoke as if he were doing a big favor to me.
“F**k you and your wolf, Keith. Even if I am a wolf-less omega with no family or pack, I find you more disgusting than the garbage in that trash bin.” I pointed towards a big trash bin at the far corner of the bar with a jerk of my chin.
I tugged the collar of my top, feeling hotter than earlier, but anger took over my rationality.
Keith growled in anger but suddenly started laughing, which confused me, but my breaths started ragging for no reason.
I jerked my head a little to sober myself a little, but the temperature of my body continued rising.
“You still didn’t understand your condition, did you?” he asked me sarcastically, a sinister smile dancing on his lips that made me feel trapped again.
I snapped my head in Brad’s direction, but he was long gone. I looked at the bottle of alcohol from which Brad was pouring alcohol for me and narrowed my eyes.
“You drugged me.” I muttered angrily, holding the edge of the counter tightly when all I wanted right now was to pounce on Keith.
He didn’t reply but laughed while giving me a knowing look. “How could you?” I yelled at him, feeling betrayed in the worst way.
Worse than choosing a mate over me.
“I know how stubborn and proud you are, Hazel. That’s why I knew that you would not agree to my decision easily.” He replied to me as he walked towards me again.
Alexander’s P.O.V. (Continued)“I only need a drink.” I spoke to him calmly, but I felt uneasiness in my heart. He still smiled apologetically.“My apologies, Alpha Nickelson. I will arrange for someone to get the best alcohol that we have to serve you in your room.” He replied to me calmly, but I sensed something odd.Because Keith’s scent was fresh in the air, it meant he was also here.I just nodded while looking at David warily but moved back.Whatever is going on here is not my concern.“Go back. Get inside. Something is really wrong.” Velan urged, almost barked at me, giving me a headache.“Goddess, Velan!” I grumbled hard but decided to follow his instincts. Even if this had nothing to do with me, I also felt an urge to check on the situation inside the bar.So, I walked in the direction of the hotel as David was still watching me but slipped into a dark and narrow alley at the corner.I always stayed in the same hotel whenever I came here for business or any other purpose. So,
Hazel’s P.O.V. (Continued)“A year, Hazel. I fought hard against the mate bond for a whole year when all I wanted was to mark you and f**k you senselessly. It was so hard, and now you are here.” He spoke with the same sinister tone while looking at me with lust.“Tonight, for a second, I felt as if I sensed your wolf. I swear that was the most overwhelming feeling." My heart almost leaped out of my mouth when the words came out of his mouth."But I knew that it was only my mate bond with you playing with my emotions so that I accept you, but I need a strong and powerful mate like Naisha, not a wolf-less omega like you.”His words filled with disgust for me still hurt like hell.“Then stay away from this worthless wolf-less omega, Keith. You know what.” I spat, straightening my back, but didn’t go away from the edge of the counter.I was now breathing heavily; the drug took affect on my body. I wanted to rip off my clothes to get some relief. Even the coldness of the AC in the bar felt

Hazel’s P.O.V.I hissed in pain while applying the ointment on my chest where I had two broken ribs.My left ribs were still aching because last night she ordered a group of her people to corner me in a warehouse and beat me up.“You bitch, you’re nothing but a spineless Omega; you don’t deserve his attention!” She slapped me hard and slammed my head to the ground, kicking on my chest continuously while screaming at the top of her lungs. “You deserve to die!”Well, the wound had healed, thanks to my wolf healing, but the lingering pain was still unbearable with the heartache that I was going through now.I pulled my top down and took a deep breath before putting the pendant on my neck again. All I needed was to go through the ceremony without being noticed by anyone.Especially not by Keith and Naisha. I came out of the room in the servant's wing and locked it. I started walking towards the exit with a heavy heart.“We can do this, Xyla. We can do this. We are stronger than this.” I m
