Daphne's PoV

"What do you think of my appearance?" Anthony showed off his body. Anthony was so fat in middle school that he often had trouble getting through the chemistry lab entrance.

"You're better now," I complimented him sincerely and enthusiastically. Anthony nodded. I worked hard for this. After my father finished sending me to business school, I was able to focus on my body. And you know the good news? My father made me a manager. He may think I'm stupid, but he already trusts me." Anthony was very excited to explain what had happened in his life. I listened carefully and was happy with his progress.

"Oh yes, what are you doing here, Daphne?" It seemed that Anthony had just remembered me. He was busy explaining himself, and he was done. He refocused on me. His eyes were watching me intensely. I always liked the soft gaze Anthony gave me. He always called me beautiful as an angel. He was my best friend. I was the only one who wanted to be his friend in high school.
