This time, I’d disfigure every one of their flawless little faces.

*****

I knew I was going to lose my title as Luna—and my reputation, if I hurt a pack member, but my body was seething with rage.

How dare they talk about me?All chatting about how Mira was the best! They had no idea the hell I was going through.

It was like they felt happy about my downfall, my sadness, my pain.

"You guys like to talk a lot, don't you?" I asked, chuckling evilly, my lips curving into a smile.

The fear I saw in their eyes—I loved it.

I couldn't help but feel the surge of energy seething through my veins as I walked toward them.

"So who should I kill first?" I asked, my tone deadly, and I smiled wider.

Yeah, one could call me paranoid, crazy, out of my mind—hurting someone all because of Kael, but right now, I was sending a message.

They would tell the others that their former Luna was gone.

It would make it easier, too, for Kael to reject me. I was over him, but I could be twisted sometimes.

The tears he wanted to see? I wouldn’t give him that satisfaction. I had cried enough—so badly, and every day, begging for his attention.

His betrayal stung like hell, but I had vowed not to shed another tear.

I would seduce his uncle.Use him. And I wouldn’t fall in love.

That was my goal.

I wouldn't fall in love with someone whose nephew had dumped and tossed me aside.

I knew he was awaiting my arrival—and I had planned it all perfectly.

I had paid for traders to mention my name around him—spark his curiosity, make him wonder why I was coming.

It was too dangerous to just show up without reason. I could have gotten my head cut off—and that was the least of my problems.

I snapped out of my thoughts and grabbed the two females by their hair, yanking them hard.

Their screams filled the room—music to my ears. Maybe next time, they wouldn’t gossip or look down on others. This was just a taste of the iceberg.

Kael and Mira would feel the true pain I carried in my heart.

I released their hair, and they crashed to the ground. The fear in their eyes—it was something I had never seen before.

All they had ever given me was mockery and those eyes that said I was unfit to be their Luna.

"Will you ever gossip about me again?" I asked, my tone dropping dangerously.

They shook their heads furiously, but my eyes darkened.

"Speak with your mouths! Or don't you have those?" I yelled, and they shivered.

"Ye... yes, Luna!" they stammered.

I flashed them a smile—a charming, scary smile that put them right in their place.

"Leave," I ordered.

They scrambled off the ground and bolted away, running in pure fear.

I flipped my hair back and stared at myself in the mirror.

I wasn’t the broken girl they used to know anymore.

No one knew me anymore.

"A safe delivery, sister," I muttered under my breath.

"Just know your happiness will die in days."

I walked out of the restroom, my steps light and deliberate.

As I cat walked toward the door, my figure shimmered under the hall lights.

I had a beautiful body shape—one I used to hide under baggy, unattractive clothes so other men wouldn't look at me, because back then... I only loved Kael.

But now?

Now, I needed that attention.

Uma was waiting for me outside the hospital, my luggage glued to her hands, her eyes darting anxiously around the hall.

Uma was about my age—22—just two years older than me, but she was my closest friend.

I didn’t see her as a maid—more like a companion. I had a soft spot for her.

"Luna!" she called out excitedly when she spotted me.

"Are you leaving? Why?" she asked, confused. I didn’t blame her, no one knew yet about my issues with Kael.

I simply flashed her a smile and took the luggage from her hands.

"Well, it’s high time I left," I said.

I saw the spark of happiness in her eye—she had known all along that Kael never truly loved me.

She had tried to tell me once, but I lashed out at her.

Now I knew better.

I pulled her into a hug. This would be the last time I would see her—the last time before my revenge began.

Soon, she wouldn't even recognize me anymore.

I was going to strike back with everything in me. I was going to use his uncle's connections and take what I deserved.

"Luna... just don’t lose yourself in your quest for revenge," she pleaded.

I laughed.

I wasn’t just going to lose myself, I was going to recreate myself.

And Kael?

He was going to pay, a little better than he ever imagined.

I pulled away from her hug and smiled warmly.

I waved goodbye and turned away, knowing the pack members were staring at me in shock and confusion, seeing me leave with my luggage.

But I didn’t care.

My ride was waiting.

The carriage was ready to leave—and I couldn’t miss it. It was my ticket to a new life.

I boarded a cab and let it take me smoothly to the waiting carriage.

The woods were wild-full of rogues and danger-and riding in a normal car was out of the question.A carriage would be safer.

I laid my head against the soft cab seat, wondering how he—Raze—would react.

It wouldn’t be easy. I had heard stories; Raze was stunningly handsome but completely cold to women.

Rumor had it he once grabbed a maid by the throat when she tried to seduce him—and she had been banished from her pack instantly.

A cold sweat prickled down my back and I shivered slightly.

"Are we going to succeed? If we don’t... Kael will..." I muttered under my breath.

Why the hell was I suddenly so afraid and doubting?

Anyway, I was already heading into the fire—into hell itself—and the devil?

The devil was my prey.

Or...

Was I going to be his?

ALPHA RAZE'S POVAnd then, faintly, my wolf whispered:“Mate.”And I passed out cold.**********I stared at the document, my eyes skimming through every detail like I should’ve done hours ago.I yawned slightly. I was sleepy—but sleep was for the weak. I valued my time and rarely rested. I was a duty-bound Alpha.I glanced at the clock. My working hours were over—no relaxation, just responsibility.I closed the file and pressed my hands to my face, lost in thought. My mate. Was I ever going to meet her? No. Kieran would never feel sad—not over something I said.********** Serra's POV I stood with my arms crossed as the doctor rushed Mira into the emergency ward. My eyes were dull, emotionless. “What if I’m way older than her?” I growled again, fury and longing burning inside me.The knock on my door snapped me out of my thoughts and I growled in frustration. Who dared disturb me at this hour?“Speak,” I yelled, my tone unfriendly and filled with malice.“It’s Kieran,” I heard her soft voice, and my eyes lightened just a bit. She was my best friend and had been by my side through it all.“Come in,” I muttered, and she slowly opened the door, stepping in gracefully. I couldn't help but take in the dress she was wearing, but I rolled my eyes and looked away, which made her frown.“At least compliment the dress,” she said, but I wasn’t in the mood for her humor.“What? Do you have any business-related news?” I asked, and she sneered playfully. She walked toward me, holding a cake in her hand. It was fancily decorated, and I stared at it blankly. She knew all my favorite things—cake was not one of them. Was she here to piss me off?I growled at the sight of the cake, and she gla
