Park Escapade

Two ladies walked past the main gate of the central park of New York City, each holding a bag.

“Welcome,” one of the men in uniform welcomed with a ripple of his hand, while another joined with smiles on their countenances. “The space is large. Make yourself comfortable.”

Emily nodded while Olivia grinned, whispering a word or two to her best friend while they strolled into the main place. “It has been a while since we came to the park,” Olivia confessed as she quickened her footsteps. “I can't wait to see a movie.”

Emily gave a nod, with a smile that graced her face.

It had been a while, indeed and that was due to not much money to spend on the vacation.

Even if it was a day away from their apartment.

Somehow, she was tired of eating homemade food and had an urge to eat just fruit and the meal chefs who knew how to cook, made.
