Crisis

Another morning and a new week it was for citizens and strangers who lived in New York City. Nicholas waited at the bottom footing of his boss's compound, awaiting Alexander to show up before they proceed to the Enterprise while he returns to his house to spend the rest of the day with Amelia.

In the insides of the apartment was the CEO of Stone Enterprise, Alexander. He was inaugurated on one of the chairs in the enormous room he sleeps in, struggling with the gold wristwatch on his wrist.

Why did it take so long today? The man muttered, although not moved by anything at all.

The last time he checked, he was the CEO of his Enterprise and could not be challenged for coming late to the office. But at the same time, he was the leader of the squad since there was no manager to manage the affairs of the Enterprise. It was just him, Jessica and Mark that he trusted, although to some extent.

“Yes,” he heaved a sigh and got on his feet.
