Chapter 5 Leonard

King Enterprise,

"Sir we've lost him but we got Jacob"

I nod, understanding the severity of the situation. Jacob was my best friend, the only person I trusted my whole life after my father. He knows every damn secret about my life, how I behave, why I hate women? and what I am after.

Never in my wildest dream did I think he would betray me? ME, LEONARD KING...the name that is feared by all. It's okay though, he showed his true colors and put me into a position where all I need is one order to deal with him.

"Where is he?" I said with full command and authority in my voice as I ask my right hand, Andrew about Jacob's whereabouts.

"He's at the containment unit"

Very well then I should pay a visit, I leave my office and made my way to my elevator that'll directly take me down to the parking lot. Andrew following me called some of our men and told them to head to port 5.

Yes, I own a fucking dock, but only a few parts where I can do my business without alarming the whole nation. I'm not some bad guy, okay, but for, people who think they can live after betraying me, got another thing to deal with.

Traitors are my biggest vengeance. I don't really like violence but when people decide to backstab me I become a bloody murderer. Slowly yet sweetly killing them until they taste the biggest regret of their life.

This dock is like a punishment center for them but for me, it's a personal playground. Don't worry I won't kill Jacob, after all, he once used to be my best friend. So, as a former friend, I should show him my true colors now, right? I smirked

So, since we have a situation I'll drive my special black lady Noelle; my love, my first car that Dad bought for me after his divorce.

My special lady is saved only for situations like this.

I never had any interest other than cars that actually started I guess when I was nine years old and watched this Disney series of cars that made me want to own a whole showroom.

When I turned 20 I owned my first showroom in London, then went on with Sydney, Japan, LA, and Korea. I fucking love to drive cars, it helps me to deal with stuff and not regret the life I chose.

Now as I'm driving my car, all I could think about is that chip. That chip is very important to me, it's something I can't afford to lose but I did. I lost it that is really shameful from my end.

I need to get it back by any means before they could find out and create more trouble for me.

I remember it all started three months ago when Jacob made his move. Nobody knew it was him that took the drive but when we found out it took us exactly two and a half months to locate him.

Of course, he's a fucking Viking so hiding is in their blood. No wonder it took my men two months to locate him.

They said he was in New York.

I was at a conference in London when they informed me of his location. I quickly dismissed the meeting and took a direct flight to New York,

We were about to capture him when that girl messed up everything. I wouldn't blame her but still, she stepped on the shoe which was meant to be ignored. I don't remember her name but it's something with a K, that accidentally got the drive.

She doesn't know how dangerous that drive is. Although Jacob did it to divert our attention, he knew very well what'll happen to her from now onwards. How can he involve an innocent person in all this mess? Fucking coward.

I clench my teeth as I remember his petty move. I can't wait to face him and show who he messed up with. Till now he only saw a friendly side of me but he knows really what happens when you wake a fucking monster.

I was, now standing at the dock, staring at the large white metal door in front of me that has some imprints from king enterprise. I rested my hands inside the pocket and walked in.

We passed through some dark passages and a few stairs when we finally reach the basement. I ask my men to block the scene as it will take some time down here.

I swiftly kick open the door and greeted him. Ah, what a scene, if back then, someone told me that I would be torturing Jacob, I seriously would have punched him or better laughed.

But look at us now, me standing and waiting for him to look from the mini jail that I especially got for him.

The cell has currents rushing in with every 20 secs interval, if anybody tries to open it with bare hands, they will be electrocuted. His hands were cuffed with the metal chair that I again made for him.

If he tries to open the cuff with whatever thing he has hidden in his clothes or hair or inside his body then, the cuff would electrocute him, enough to faint him. The same goes for the chair, as its design is highly classified.

Made from real Irish craftsmen, this chair has a body sensor that will alarm us if they didn't find his body heat.

I really didn't want to go this extreme but he deserved it." I am not letting you escape from me Jacob", I leaned forward and softly whispered to him.

He finally looked up and noticed me and my men. "Leo" he speaks very faintly; looks like he did try to escape which resulted in his now, half-electrocuted self.

"Why did you do that?" I ask straightly not wanting to waste my time here

He smirked, his eyes filled with hatred and disgust as he laughs maniacally, he pauses for a second and then laughs again, "Why did I do that?? Hmm, lemme think..."

He acts like he's actually thinking; he pauses for a second before spitting on the ground with force. "To fuck you Leo" he barks

Huh, was he always like this, I thought as I got a little closer and shot him in his neck with a stun gun, "well, you should have said so, I would've actually suggested a better option than this one to fuck me"

I signal my men to open the jail and stop the electricity as I talk to him, man to man.

"Veronica" I heard April, calling me as I pull myself together. Kelly's pregnant she said, how? when?

"How did you know she was pregnant?" I ask,

"The doctor took some tests and told me, she is six weeks pregnant"

Six weeks? heck..was she dating someone? who? I had so many questions to ask but I need to control myself. April is more shocked than me so I need to pull myself together. I chanted a few mantras to relax and continued my conversation with her.

"Do you have any idea about the father?"

She slightly shakes her head no, before one of the nurses came to get her for the IV injector since she also had a few cuts down her arm.

I sat there motionless, trying to process everything that has happened till now, first Turner losing his virginity, then Mia, and now Kelly. It's all happening in a sequence, one after the other giving us no time to contemplate anything.

I saw Lexi and Ed coming from the hall. They slowly took a seat in front of me and ask me about April. I told them she's gone to take the IV drops but what about Kelly?

I don't know what to do. Should I tell them? but April wanted this to be private, but she already knows about our group and how loyal we are to each other, so there's no harm in telling them right?

I drank some water and clear my throat, "so, umm guys I need to tell you something"

They both looked at me and slightly nodded "What is it?"

I look at them, knowing there's another shock to this day. They better be ready to face the news I'm about to tell them.

"Kelly's pregnant," I said firmly and straight to the point.

Nope, not doing it again, Ed said as he got up from his seat and left. What the??? I know this is frustrating but how could he leave? we all are dealing with it right, "Ed, Edd" I shouted his name but he didn't respond.

" Ver, I don... I ugh just , I..I..uh I seriously don't know anything now, Veronica" Lexi shrugged, her face saying she's done.

I took her hand and gently pressed it "Lex I know it's all a little too much for us but we can't avoid it, Kelly's pregnant you know that itself is the big news"

She gives a tired smile in understanding, "Who's the father?"

"I have no idea"

"So, now what?" She asks

"Well, for starters you guys should head home it's already past 12, " I shrugged seeing her exhausted.

"What about you?"

"I'll stay here"

" Are you sure? I mean you just arrived in New York"

"I'm good Lex just go and take April with you"

"you sure, I mean we can stay"

I gave a nod and assure her it was fine. They both needed a rest much more than me. I already slept the entire day and I'm in no mood to rest after hearing about that jerk Leonard King. I needed a plan. I need to talk to Kelly.

I bid them and I made my way to Kelly's room, "You're up"

Kelly looks at me and smiles, I quickly give her some water and sat beside her bed, "So, care to explain what's happening?"
