It's playtime

Arriving at the graveyard, I can't help but feel relief. Liam leads the way. Jackson is holding my hand as we walk behind Liam. The woman at the grave looks old like she has aged far quicker than she should have. She walks towards us, her arms wrapping around me, a smile on her face.

“Hi Alena, I'm Helen, Jackson's Mum. You look well, all things considered.” She is smiling, hugging me tightly; she seems nice. Liam had her sound scary and mean. Her Scottish accent clearly stuck.

“Hi, Mum.” Jackson smiles as he says the words, and she lets go of me, hugging him. Jackson kisses her cheek.

“You look well, Jackson, really well.” She smiles at him. Turning, we walk to the grave. I watch as they lay flowers down. Standing, they are reminiscing and discuss what has happened recently. I feel out of place like I shouldn't be here. I have no idea who Katy was, and I never met her.

Her grave reflects someone who is loved dearly. Next to it lies Jackson's daughter, her grave equally as beautiful.
