Touch Me Not

Aden Bruce POV

It was quite late in the night and the weather was bad. It was about to rain. I was enjoying the beautiful weather in my city. I was imagining her beautiful face while looking out of the window when I noticed a car on the side of the road. It was her.

I stopped the cab and went out. The beautiful way she turned her eyes away from me. She must be thinking I was stalking her.

Aden "Is there any problem. I can help you out."

Girl "No we don't need your help. You can leave."

She was with her friend I guess. Although she was ignoring me her friend was really a nice girl.

"Yes, Actually my car stopped here suddenly. I was checking but I have no idea what happened. Can you please help me out?"

Aden "Yeah Sure."

I was about to move towards them when she said

"We don't need his help. Let's call a cab. We don't need anyone's help."

But her friend was insisting

"No, we do Mel."

She came near me.

"I am Audrey and this is my friend Melody."

Aden "I am Aden. Nice to meet you, Audrey and Melody."

After shaking my hand with Audrey I was offering it to her but she turned her face away.

Aden "Never mind."

I immediately went for checking it. There were some problems with it and at that time there won't be any mechanics.

Melody "I was already asking you for calling a cab. He only looks like a mechanic but is actually a jerk."

What? How rude? I knew I wasn't able to control my feelings but It happened just in front of her.

Audrey "That's really rude Mel. Instead of thanking him, you are calling him a jerk."

Aden "It's okay. She has the right to that. Now if you don't mind I can drop you home."

Melody "No thank you so much. You can leave. We will manage."

Audrey " But Mel."

Aden "It's too late and it is about to rain. It won't be safe for you to use a cab now."

Melody "What's the guarantee of our safety with you? You are a stranger too."

Audrey " Wait Aden I will talk to her."

She took her away for some time and she was definitely wasn't agreeing. But after some time they came back.

Audrey "Okay We are coming with you."

Aden "And you?"

I was looking at her face but her expressions were telling me her answer. She immediately took out her bag and I helped her.

Audrey was telling me the address so we were heading there. She was telling me about herself. She was working in a private firm and was living in this city for a long.

Aden "So what about you Miss Melody?"

Melody "None of your business."

She was looking outside the window and her cold behavior was showing that she was hating me the most. I was enjoying the way she was getting irritated by me.

It suddenly started raining outside and I was enjoying it. I was playing my favorite music in-cab and after a moment I heard her again.

Melody "Stop it. We don't wanna listen to it."

Audrey "What happened Mel? It is your favorite song."

I smiled I knew she wasn't enjoying it because I was playing it. I stopped it and was looking outside when our car stopped suddenly after bumping. I looked at the driver and he went out and was checking it.

It was still raining and I went out too. He was checking it and I heard melody saying

Melody "Seriously I was doubting my luck after I met with this Idiot. Our car stopped immediately and now this cab too. This man is seriously bad luck for me."

But The driver told me that he would change the tire soon. I told them and was enjoying the rain and after some time we were set to go.

Audrey's home arrived and they both were getting out. I helped them in their bags. When I looked back she was closing her eyes and was enjoying raindrops. She was looking so beautiful at the moment.

She was about to leave when she slipped but I held her hand and saved her from falling down and she immediately shook my hand.

Melody "Stay away from me. Stalker."

At that moment I was really mad. I was trying to be good and she was continuously insulting me.

Aden "Look, Madam. Who do you think you are? I am not the type of guy you think miss Mel."

Melody " Only my friends are allowed to call me that. You can fool Audrey by this but I know guys like you."

Aden "Oh really? Then let me tell you what type of person am I."

I went near her and she was taking steps back. She stopped when her back touched the car.

Melody "Just Stop right there. Don't touch me."

I smiled and Immediately grabbed her face in my hands and kissed her forehead.

She pushed me away.

Melody "You bastard. How dare you touch me?"

Aden "Get used to this Mel."

Audrey was shocked standing there. I smiled and after getting in I went away. I smiled and was looking in the rearview mirror. She was saying something and was rubbing her forehead with her palm. She must be abusing me. I smiled and went home.

After I reached home everyone was sleeping. I went to my room and as expected the setting was still the same and Everything was clean. Mom must have been taking care of my room.

I smiled and after looking at everything I took a shower and was so tired and wanted to sleep. But I was thinking about Mel. She was so changed now. The girl I met was weak and vulnerable at that time. She was trying to commit suicide that night.

I still remembered the way she was begging me to let her die. But today she was looking too strong. But I was happy for her. This time I won't allow her go away. I would make her mine by hook or by crook.
