Melody's Point of view

“Sir,” I repeated on the call for the fifth time.

I wasn't sure whether I was hearing it wrong or right, but a few minutes ago, I had just been awakened by the sound of my phone.

My boss had called to tell me to report to the station today.

“Boss Alfred, today is my day off,” I grunted, my eyes half-baked. I had slept late last night while fulfilling the sexual desires in my heart.

I was swollen all over, and I wasn't quite shocked when my nipples became really hard and painful when I woke up.

“What's wrong?” he asked, as if he didn't know I was supposed to relax after a mission.

“You know if it isn't important, I won't be disturbing you, Melody. The state has been after this criminal for a long while, and they keep disturbing me,” he said in frustration.

My boss actually wanted me to report to the station on Antonio’s case. I barely remembered how well it had been.

“Why are you quiet?” Boss Alfred said once again, his voice piercing through my phone.

“Yes, sir, I will report to the station today,” my voice croaked, yet it sounded better than it did in my head a few seconds before I said the statement.

“Fuck!” I muttered. Was I really supposed to spit out the truth about Antonio and what I knew about him?

I just couldn't let such a great man leave…

I mean, he isn't great.

He is nothing but a criminal!

A man who had made many weep.

He did make me cry too, but the only difference was it was tears of sweet joy as the moan escaped my lips.

My thoughts rambled around. Why would my boss call me this early to tell me this?

I had almost forgotten it was my duty as a police officer. I wasn't supposed to complain; I was supposed to catch criminals.

“But is it supposed to be like Antonio, who was damn good in bed?” I said my statement out loud, and there was literally no one to answer.

Picking up my towel, I rushed towards the bathroom, brushing my teeth, and after a few minutes of everything, I finally left the bathroom while I wore my clothes gently.

“8:54,” I said while staring at the clock

I was late, though my boss had called me earlier to clarify things. He had called me around 8 in the morning, and I just used about 40 minutes of my time to dress up and literally do everything in my power.

I finally picked up my bag. My gun was in the car already. I strolled out of my house in urgency, my feet banging against the tiles, and I was praying not to fall.

“Lead us not into temptation, O Lord, deliver me from evil,” I quickly did the sign of the cross as I prayed while descending through the stairs.

Don't ask me why I was praying; I was a Christian.

Holy Jesus, I felt so… so…

Hmmmm

Anyway!

After I had said my morning prayer, I picked up my car keys as I opened the door.

The fresh scent of the morning slowly greeted me while I looked around, spreading my arms wide in the air.

“Such a good morning indeed,” I muttered.

I walked slowly towards where my car was parked, my hands resting on the handle about to pull.

I was about to pull the door when a masculine hand held mine.

At first, I thought it was my imagination.

Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me at that moment, maybe it really wasn't happening.

So I pinched myself with my left hand until he voiced out.

“Surprised to see me, hun,” his deep baritone voice shattered my holy prayer.

“Holy Jesus,” I whispered, only for me to hear his groan, while he stared at me.

He pulled me by my wrist as I struggled for him to leave me alone.

“Stop it, Antonio,” I halted at him, twisting my wrist from left to right in order to break free from his grip.

“Get a hold of yourself if you wouldn't like to get injured,” he ordered, and everything in me went silent like a child.

I relented while he pulled me towards the door, snatching the keys from my hands.

“Why are you entering my house?” I said in the highest pitch I knew.

“We need to talk,” he looked at me while holding me.

Finally, we got inside while he unbuckled his belt.

“What is the meaning of this, you criminal?” I launched toward the door while I tried to escape.

“You can't go anywhere, Melody,” he sounded very possessive and a little bit harsh as his arms gripped me.

“So are you trying to rape me or what?” I jested, staring at the way he looked at me with need.

“Please, I need this one from you,” he gawked at me, his eyes screaming he needed to have sex with me.

I faked a cough while I looked at him, “you can get that from anybody, a slut or a prostitute at the club, get out of my house.”

I forced out the statement, but I didn't expect what he did next.

He brought it out, the demon between his thighs.

Thick, hard, veiny, huge, grunty dick !

I swallowed hard, ignoring the view right in front of me as I stared at the ceiling while muttering my sentence.

“Antonio, get out of my house. I won't repeat myself twice,” I said while staring at him.

“Please, I need you between my thighs,” he slowly said, walking towards me, and my legs froze.

He stared at me, turning me on in a way that I lost control, ignoring the fact that I had told him to get out.

“What's the meaning of this?” I struggled to say until he shut me up with his statement.

“It isn't over until I say it is,” he muttered while bending me over until he…

  • The Criminal I Crave   A CONNECTION

Melody's POVZain had a smile on his face as he turned the computer back to him and started to search for something. “Sure, there is. Let me search for him, it might take me a minute" he said in an apologetic voice. It took him ten minutes which in the grand scheme wasn't a long time so I didn't let it bother me. When he finally did, he showed it to me and my brows furrowed now. “What is this?" I asked. He made a noise in his throat, “Whoever paid, paid anonymously. They didn't give an account name or number, they simply transferred the money into the account with a note that specified that it was for King" he explained it to me.I felt my frustration grow. Whoever had done this, had known what he was doing. He had played a smart and long game. I felt annoyance grow in my guts, that and anger. I would make sure King had regrets when he was caught. But instead of taking my frustration out on Zain, I simply smiled at him. “Thank you so much for your assistance today and don't forget" I

  • The Criminal I Crave   BUMPS

Melody's POVFor about two hours, I sat on my work chair trying to work something out. There had been no recent leads on the case, other than the video of course. I hadn't been able to determine who the men were and what had been inside the case.If I had found out something important, only then could he be charged. That was what I desperately wanted. Or would it mean that it would signal the government to come in again? Everything wasn't so clear anymore.I was reading through his charge sheet again, trying to spot an end that I hadn't taken when I saw it. I wasn't sure how many times I had missed it and why that even happened but it was there. He had been admitted into the hospital just after rehab a few weeks ago which meant there had to be records there. There was no address for him - a real one at least. Maybe he had trusted the hospital this one time? But then there was something else that ticked me off. It was the amount that the bills would cost. He had gone in for a gunshot w

  • The Criminal I Crave   TIP TWO

Melody's POVInstead of rejecting his advances, I smiled back, “Well, they say wine makes everything better doesn't it? You don't look so bad either yourself" I said instead, watching as his smile widened and enjoying the sight of it.After that, dinner went on smoothly - it lasted an hour longer with Zain and I learning a lot about each other. I learned that he was a very busy doctor, he only had weekends for free and that was on certain hours.Although I wanted to ask him how he coped with a partner and all that, I decided not to. It wasn't any of my business and I knew that aside from Antonio, there wasn't going to be anything serious from me.By the time the evening came to an end, I was a little buzzed and tipsy. It was clear in the way I tipped my head and how much I laughed at jokes that weren't even funny. My head swam with so many thoughts. It was Jasper that took my waist and held me, leading me to the entrance while Zain stood behind both of us, holding my purse for me. Bot

  • The Criminal I Crave   BENT OVER

Melody's POVAt first there was no reaction from him. He stared at me coldly, his eyes blank before sudden rage flew into it. It was obvious when his eyes hardened and he leaned closer to me, “Until I say you're not mine anymore. You are"I opened my mouth to protest but he lay a thick finger on it, stopping me from talking. “And I haven't. Whoever the fuck is outside, you're going to reject him, I don't care how you do it. Am I clear?" His voice was hard and sure.Still, I couldn't fold in quickly but he didn't even give me any chance. His hands held my wrists as he spun me around against the counter and pushed me on it, bending me over the sink."You're going to do as I fucking say” he growled and lifted my gown up, my ass cheeks exposed for the cool air. I opened my mouth to ask him what he was doing but before I could, his hands had landed on them, spanking me.I let out a groan of pain as the sting landed on me, the pain wasn't enormous but it wasn't sweet either, not at first an

  • The Criminal I Crave   LET’S START AFRESH

Melody's POV It surprised me when Zain came to my side of the table, pulling the chair out for me to sit down before he took his seat opposite me. Jasper sat down in the chair beside me and that was how dinner began. As the waiters made their way towards us, I couldn't help but feel eyes on me. Trying to be slick with it, I looked around the room to see if I would spot anyone but then I didn't and I shook the thoughts off. Maybe it was all in my head. My attention came back to the table as the waiters handed each of us a menu. From even just the menu, the way the paper felt so soft and strong at the same time - smoothness of it, I knew this restaurant was expensive. Jasper knew how I felt about too expensive things and he leaned over to whisper in my ear after reading my expression, “Come on. Don't hesitate. I'm not paying the entire bill, the owner is a close friend" When I turned to meet his eyes, they were down on the menu again and there wasn't any time to see if he was lying

  • The Criminal I Crave   NEW MAN

Melody's POVJust as he had asked of me, not like I had much of a choice, I was ready in thirty minutes - even less than and was waiting for his driver on my sofa. My eyes were on my phone as I replayed the video Tony had helped me with. The number he had given to me was saved and I was contacting this officer as soon as tomorrow came, no matter what happened. Somehow, Jasper's driver wasn't there at the exact time which was rare.I was still waiting when I heard footsteps coming from behind me on the staircase. This time, I didn't look around in alarm or fear. There was only one man in the house that I knew, Antonio. He came in front of me a few moments later, brows raised and questions written all over his face. He probably didn't know what he was looking at since I had never dressed as nicely as I had today. On me, I had worn a red dinner gown, it just reached past my thighs, it revealed a great part of it - enough to stimulate your imagination. His eyes darkened as he looked over
