Episode 3.
SHADE UNIVERSITY: At noon, the sun was covered in the dark clouds of the rainy clouds, just as students had just rounded up their last lecture of the day, precisely the archaeologists. Emma making for her car spotted Julian standing and staring directly at her, probably been standing there for a while. She however seemed to get the familiarity of the face of an unknown young man, who helped with her assignment, couldn't forget such a face. And as well, remembering their last meeting went short without a proper goodbye, she decided to approach him and take it from whence they stopped. "Hey Miss," Julian said as he also walked towards her to meet at a certain point. "Hey weirdo," she smiled at him. "You're unbelievable." "Sorry I just blazed the last time," he apologized. "You know," she raised jingling her keys on her finger. "It's not about you leaving suddenly, but how fast you left. You just vanished into thin air." He smiled a bit and moved a bit closer to her and slightly bent to her ears. "I'm fast," he whispered. "Like super fast." She gave him a strange look for a while, having that look on her face like her curiosity and mystery has been quenched, like she actually took his words for it. But of course, what a deadpan look she wore. "You know what?" She finally spoke. "I don't wanna know, let's just assume you hid in one of those trees there or anywhere around, which is possible cus you're a forest boy and know your ways." He played along with her decision and took a step back to recede the closeness between them. Suddenly, Audrey from nowhere showed up looking excited but mellowed as she finally got to the two. "Emma, didn't you see the sky?" Audrey asked. "Skies are dark is time for rain." "Hey," Julian waved. "Oh! Hey... So sorry I didn't well notice," Audrey explained. "You're ridiculous Audrey," Emma said. Audrey offered a handshake to Julian and back he shook her, but the look expressed on his face was strange as they still were holding hands. Nevertheless he stared tensely at her but she didn't comprehend the look but kept smiling. "Hello!" Emma snapped her fingers across his face and he instantly released Audrey's hand. "Do you know her from somewhere?" Emma further asked. "No, just stunned by her beauty," he confessed regaining his full consciousness. "Awn..." Audrey exclaimed happily. "Thank you so much." "Great, so you always do that around beautiful ladies or just her?" Emma asked leaving a pointed finger at Audrey beside her. He shrugged his shoulders in acceptance and briefly expressed a side smile. "Oka...y, so does it only happens when you shake hands or a mere touch too." At this juncture he deemed where Emma was heading to and what point she was echoing at, especially when she made the clear difference of 'handshake' and 'touch'. He instantly remembered as he only touched her when they met in the forest and not handshake, and him not looking stunned at her the very same way he just did at Audrey, which would automatically describe her as not pretty or as pretty as Audrey all the same, and of course, she felt slightly bad by it. But coming to this knowledge, he immediately sought to reshape things and even her thought of his actions. "I mean the ones I touch but don't reveal instantly means are more, so reserved for a better occasion." Emma grinned which suggested she was bit of impressed by it. "Emma Potter," a voice from beside the said. They all turned and there was another young man about the age of Julian, but a bit older than him, standing in a long black coat and all other attire in black as well. His hands were stuck in the coat pockets and he seemed to be the sudden speaker. The three all turned to the mystery man, staring at him mysteriously for a while, speechless and confused. "The rumor of your beauty is beyond what I've imagined," he said drawing even nearer to Emma as she stood still, staring desperately. "I say, the rumors had underestimated the quality of your personality," he bowed spreading wide his arms beside. Further, he gently reached and got a hold of her hand and kissed the top of it as a true gentleman. This however caused a stimulant of joy in her but still kept her smile contained, cautious of giving a radiant expression to a stranger who might be a villain. "Who are you?" She asked softly. "Oh! Forgive my ignorance Miss Emma. Let me introduce myself," he released her hand and took a sharp step back. "My name is William Castle, an..." "Casper," Julian immediately interjected. "William Casper." William slightly gave him a strange look and turned back to Emma. "As he said, William Casper," William proceeded. "Wait, you two are brothers?" Emma asked. "Yes, unfortunately we are," Julian replied with dejection. "He's my kid bro actually," William added. "So what's up with Castle and Casper mix up thing?" Emma asked. "We are so fond of his works," Julian explained. "We read a lot about him and sometimes wished we were actually his children." "The man was a true visionary, a beacon to we are, thus we grew acquitted to him," William added massaging Julian's shoulder with one hand. "Wow! You brothers are so different," Audrey said. "How?" The two brothers in one voice. "Julian here seems to be an introvert while Willie here is totally the opposite, an extrovert," Audrey explained. "You made mention of rumors," Emma rose. "From who did they emerged from?" "You know," William took her hands. "Julian here has been buzzing my ears with your good looks and incredible beauty. And as a kid that he is, I didn't take his words for it till I saw you a while ago, still, he misinterpreted cus you're way more than his tongue could describe. As such, he's jus..." "That's enough William," Julian muffled him. "You're just repeating yourself over." Emma was impressed by it and couldn't restrain the sound of her way before laughter caught up in her cheeks. "Emma, I'll keep my books in your call before it gets soak," Audrey suggested and headed for the car. "William, your body is cold, why?" Emma asked breaking down her laughter. William and Julian shared a look at each other in silence for a while. "Well..." William opened up. "I mostly stay indoors and the cool weather of the forest I roam in all day. I hate heat, avoids at much as possible." "He gets that a lot," Julian averred. "Me I like heat and always roaming about that's why I'm not as cold as he is." "Alright, nice meeting you William, both of you," walking away she stopped, turned and added. "And Julian, be more like your brother, compliment a beautiful lady when you see one, else you might never get another chance." She finally got in her car and drove away and the brothers froze and watched anxiously as the car receded, mostly, Julian couldn't get enough of the sight. "I can compel her for you, you know," William suggested. "What the hell were thinking showing up here, like this, were you waiting for the sun to go down for this?" Julian brashly complained. "Relax bro; I was just doing you a favor." "How did you know about her?" "I was in the forest as well the day you you told her about father." "The sun was up, there's no way you were that close to use your heighten hearing." "Says who?" William walked and pass brushed Julian. "The tomb in the forest, I was there and I heard everything." Julian went after him heading towards the nearest side of the woods. "Well, next time I'll be needing privacy," Julian said. "That reminds me," William turned and faces him. "I saw from distance the way you looked at Audrey, vibe anything?" "She's extraordinary, not sure what kind but she is," he replied. William immediately released his sharp claws from his fingers and his eyes glowed red with breaks and cracks of dark veins around his eyes. "Well, let's go find out, shall we?" William suggested making a move. "Back off!" Julian pushed him back. "You gotta lay low and avoid trouble." "This is our town, we got to make sure it's safe from unknown creatures like that which you can't determine with your ability." "And who will protect them from you?" Julian asked. "You go around feeding on the locals and you're here talking bullshit about protecting. Who are you fooling? You're instead viewing her as another sack of blood on your long food chain of super naturals." There, he got William exactly at the right spot. And William couldn't verbally defend against that and instead, he took Julian a mile away with a throw of his single punch in the center of his chest.Episode 4.EMMA'S RESIDENCE: A car drove in and was packed before the front porch. From the car came Mika and she wasn't alone, Julian also got down from the right side front seat. Their friendship had obviously reached to a per, viewing how she even drag him all the way to her house. In the house she was welcomed by her uncle, Daniel. An average height person, dark skinned with a goatee style of mustache beard. He as well had a wide chest and his muscles could be seen in his sleeves shirt. Julian and Daniel shook hands as Emma introduced them to each other and immediately headed for the kitchen, leaving the two men together in the living room. "So, what do I call you?" Daniel asked just as they got sited. "Julian Cast. . ." he took a brief break. "Casper. Call me Julian Casper."Daniel briefly gave him a strange look, squeezing his forehead. "Cast-per you say?" Daniel asked. "N
pisode 5THE CASTLES RESIDENCE: Blood smelled everywhere, especially creatures with heighten sense of smell, they could pick it right from the turn to the road that led to the house. Julian however picked it up and as he opened the door, the smell grew stronger and he could say it was still fresh. With caution, he headed to the bunker where William was but it was open and empty, suddenly he felt a pull of his leg and to the wall he landed and down to the ground. "Hello Brother," William said smiling with stained lips of blood. Julian stood up and dusted his jacket. "The sun is still up, how did you escaped and fed?" Julian asked staring at a body beside the couch in blood. "Pizza delivery guy," he replied walking forward. "All I had to do was call and order for pizza, you can have it if you want to, I've had my sate." "We agreed you'll only feed on animals and the blood I get from the hospital," Julian in a
Episode 6. Few days passed and the distance kept between Emma from Julian was a void. He often times tried to meet and explain things to her but none of it mattered to her, all she seemed to think of at his sight was his monstrous transition and savagery attempt on her life. At a point, Julian showed up at her residence and was so not welcomed by Daniel and even Abel. Especially Daniel, he was so unkind and threatened to attack him if he stayed a bit longer. One evening, just as many days as Emma drive through the forest, this time she was suddenly hit from beside by an angry rhino. She lost control of the moving car, and the tires from the side where it was hit barely touched the ground as it lifted to fall over. Just as she gave up all hope, there was her 'knight in shiny armor' Julian. He from the other side supported the car from falling over and the force and weight which it lifted with, pushed and forced him back till he supported his leg on a tree, and
isode 7 The morning came, and Emma after her random activities set to head out for school. At the brink of the door Daniel called walking on to her. "Last evening, where were you at? I called Audrey but she had no idea and your phone wasn't connecting." "I, I was with Julian," she replied softly. "What!?" He yelled. "What were you thinking?" "He saved my life before then, okay? This angry rhino attacked my car from nowhere, probably was crossing the road." "There are no wild animals around the nearby forests, they're all reserved away." "Does it mean I'm lying?" She asked unpleasantly. "No," he said gentle. "I'm just confused how it ended up there, and even the panther in the forest that night." "About that night," she raised. "We never spoke much of your part in it. What were you doing there at that time with a crossbow?" "Uhm. . . I-I," he stammered. "H-hunting."
isode 8UNDISCLOSED LOCATION, 1801: "Julian!" William called running down to him, in the forest. "W-what did you do?"Julian's lips quivered, his eyes moistened with tears and shallow red, his forehead covered in stripe veins. On his knees he was, and in his arms he held a young maiden soak in blood. Himself likewise, mostly looking like he just bath in a pool of blood. "Lucy. . ." William sighed, weakly staggering forward to Julian. "I'm so sorry Lucy," Julian muttered in emotional pain. "You loved her, why?" William asked leaning reluctantly to a tree. "I didn't do this on purpose. Last night was full moon, not just any full moon bu. . ." "Bloody hell!" William yelled. "Yes, fucking blood moon of course," he took a step forward. "I'm just coming from the village." Julian bowed his head shamefully as right before he deemed where his brother was heading to, his next words and in
Episode 9 Late in the night, on the peak of one of the most tallest buildings in Shade, Julian and Emma sat. The soft air of the sky whizzed brushing their skin which in fact made it colder, as such he had to wrap her in with his own jacket in addition to hers. Wheres, he didn't much of needed it, he was however as stable as a building. They spoke of different things, random conversation but then, just when it was almost time head back, she brought another. "We never really got talk about that night," her eyes stuck at him. "What night?" "That we first met," she chuckled softly. "Well, not like an official one but, you at least met me, but I was so off to return the gesture." "Wow! Honestly, I don't have anything to say." She folded her legs back up to the front, facing him. "Tell me anything, about the night. How you pulled me out, even how you knew I was in danger."&nb
Episode 10.EMMA'S RESIDENCE: "So. . . You and Julian, have you two had. . ." Lucy suspended sitting on Emma's bed. "Had what?" Emma stopped her current occupation and curiously asked. "Had sex, have you?" "No. . ." She grimaced. "We ain't like that together yet." "What, 'like that' what do you mean?" She dropped the cloth in her hand and joined Lucy on the bed. "We just kissed ones, and we really haven't even talked about it since. He hasn't even asked me out yet." "Does he?" "I don't get it," she exercised confusion. "I mean will he? Do you think he will?" "It doesn't matter, all I know is he loves me," she placed a hand on her chest looking aimlessly up. "I see it when I look in his eyes, he's got my back. So caring and protective." "Protective, from what actually?" She hastily asked.&nbs
Episode 11.SOMEWHERE IN THE TOWN: Random screams and yelps echoed throughout the building. People running up and down without definite direction, the lights were off making it even more horrific. Soon, not just the loud screams but all noise went mute, not a single sound made. And from the darkness heard footsteps encroaching and then suddenly stopped. "Please, don't kill me," a voice in the room spoke as the footsteps stopped right in front of it. From the sound of it, it trembled as the speaker was was overwhelmed with fear. The lights came back on and there was William, showered in and standing with blood dripping from underneath his chin, hands not the less. And he used his palm and stroke his hair to the back as he walked more closer to the last man standing. "I'll ask you this just once," William raised without a sense of humor. "Where is my brother?" "I-I don't know," he stuttered. "I swear."&
