MasukKAI
Once again, I woke up to that depressing sight of cum sticking to my body. As if that weren't bad enough, there were also stains on the floor, and my reading desk, which I could have sworn was by my table, was in front of my bed, as if I had sat there before retiring to bed. The worst? I couldn't freaking recall anything. The last thing I remembered was falling into bed and dozing off. The rest? I couldn't freaking tell.
The only good thing about today, like yesterday, was the coffee on my desk waiting for me. That, right there, was the only good thing that happened.
Dad showed up unannounced at the office. He must have asked my secretary not to ring my office. All I heard was a knock, then he was inside, filling my space with his eyes narrowed.
"Kai Blau Schwarz!" He bellowed, raising his walking stick to point at me. "You dare stand me up last night!"
"Dad!" I got up from my desk and forced a smile, even though I wanted to scream. How the hell did he have the time to torment my life? Why couldn't he stay in his office?
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming over?" I asked instead. "If you had done that, I wouldn't have let you take a trip so far to this place," I said, closing the distance between us, but mindful of his walking aid.
The old man can be so mean with his stick if he wants. I'd felt that twenty years ago, when he had just started using it after an accident that nearly cost him his life. I lost my mum in the accident, and he lost his wife. He had been in the passenger seat when Schmidt's car slammed into us. I was in the back, strapped in, and screaming as metal folded around us and Mum went silent in the driver's seat. That damned day took a lot from us, and I doubt we would ever recover from it.
He narrowed his eyes. "So you'll stand me up again?"
I chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of my neck. Father just knew me too well. If he had told me about this meeting, I would have slid away faster before he could get a hold of me. I wouldn't have gone to him like I claimed I would, if he had asked for me.
I knew what it was he wanted to talk about: marriage. He had been singing about that for a while now.
"Nonsense," he snapped, slamming his stick against the marble floor. The sound cracked through my office like a gunshot. "You don't get to laugh this off, boy. Not this time."
He stepped closer, and I caught the smell of his cologne, the same one he'd worn since Mum died. He said it reminded him of her. "You missed dinner with Mr Schmidt last night. Do you know how that made me look? How did that make us look?"
My stomach dropped. He certainly isn't talking about that Schmidt, is he?
"Dad, I —"
"Quiet." He raised his hand, and the stick trembled as his eyes narrowed. "I've let you play CEO long enough, Kai. You're 35 for crying out loud, and you can't keep being a playboy forever. That ends this week. We're having dinner on Friday at 7 PM at their house, and you'll attend. There's no getting away from it because it's about you, son. It's about your marriage with their —"
I went cold. "A marriage meeting? What the hell are you talking about?"
"Don't curse at me," he growled, raising his stick. Knowing what he was about to do, I stepped back, just to avoid it. "You're marrying Stein Schmidt, his eldest son. It's arranged and finalised. The contracts are already being drawn."
It took me a while to form my words after hearing their name. It was Schmidt, the same one I had hoped he wasn't talking about.
"Wait, let me get this right. You're talking about Mr Schmidt, right? The man who caused the accident, the man whose drunk driving took Mum and crippled you. The man we both swore we'd bury if he ever crossed our path."
Dad winced, but nodded. "He's the one."
"You want me to marry his son?" I tried to keep my voice low, but the anger still seeped out. "After what he did to Mum? To us?"
Dad's jaw worked. For a second, I thought I saw shame, but then it was gone, replaced by that familiar, ruthless set to his mouth.
"It's a truce marriage, Kai. Their company has the shipping lanes we need. We have the patents they can't operate without. All we need is one wedding that'll end a twenty-year blood feud and double Schwarz Holdings overnight."
He leaned on his stick, knuckles white. "I don't want this, just as much as you don't, but we have no choice. We need their connections. This marriage isn't about love. It's about the profit."
Of course, it was fucking about the profit. That was all he ever cared about. The man who had vowed to take revenge changed his mind after being tossed a bone like a dog.
"He's his son," I said, and my voice shook. "His father killed Mum. And you want me to—"
"I want you to help the family! We can't keep staying afloat with what we have been doing for years. We need a change, and this is the only way we can get it. You don't need to love his son. You only need to have your name and his in ink." He drew a deep breath before he continued, "Your mother is gone, Kai. Crying over her grave won't bring her back. This will secure the family's future and the Schwarz's name."
He turned for the door, then paused without looking back. "Remember, it's Friday by 7 PM. Don't embarrass me again. The Schmidts will be there, and so will your future partner."
The door clicked shut.
I came back to myself in pieces. For a moment, I couldn't recall what happened, but that only took a few seconds before everything came rushing in. The pain was the first thing that I recalled.I was still on my stomach, face pressed into the pillow, and I could feel him inside me. His cock was still hard, as if he was waiting for me to wake up so that he could resume what he was doing before I collapsed. That damned bastard!I tried to move, and the pain flared. I made a sound, half moan, half whimper, and his hand tightened on my hip.“Easy, baby,” he whispered as he removed the blindfold. I blinked when I saw how dark the room was. How long was I out? It was night already??? We hadn't even had lunch yet. My wrists were free from the tie, but I didn't remember when he'd undone them. I didn't remember anything after the black closing in. He possibly did it after I fell asleep. I winced when he rotated his hips. “Stein,” I breathed out. “I'm still sore.”“I know.” He shifted behin
“No, it's not like that. I —”“Okay.”He paused. “Huh?”I bit my inner cheeks. Fuck Stein! I keep giving in to every damned thing he wanted! “Okay, you can do whatever you want. As long as you don't try anything funny.”He smiled. The bastard wasn't even trying to hide his excitement from me. He threw the shorts away and got back into bed with me. If he were a puppy, there was no doubt he would be wagging his tail in happiness. “You won't regret this, my love.” Then he leaned down and kissed me. “Turn over,” he said, just as he broke from the kiss and reached for a tie on my bedside table. I gave him a dubious glare. “Why are you holding a tie?”“You'll know soon.”“It better be worth my time, else I'll castrate you.”“Aww, baby. Who'll satisfy you if you do that?”“That's for us to find out when I actually do it.” He got down so I could roll onto my stomach without kicking him. His weight shifted the mattress when he rejoined me on the bed, and then his hands were on my wrists, pu
I didn't know what I was expecting when he followed me into the bathroom, but it certainly wasn't this. I had expected him to go straight into what I wanted, to hold me against the bathroom walls and fuck me until my legs gave out under me. We hadn't done it since that day in my office before he started acting out. Which was why I had expected something from him, only to be disappointed.Instead of taking me hard, just like I wanted, the bastard reached for the soap. Who would have thought he actually meant business when he joined me?He lathered his body before he turned to me. He pumped more soap into his palm, and then his hands were on my shoulders, to do the same thing to me. He spread it across my skin slowly, and worked the suds into my muscles. He dug his thumbs into the knots, and against my better judgment, I dropped my head forward and moaned. It was relaxing, even though that wasn't what I wanted from him. I needed something else, not his hand on me. His hands slid lower
KAII removed the stray strands of hair from his face and leaned down to place a kiss on his forehead. He looked so young while asleep, unlike the cunning young man he was. “Mine,” I whispered against his forehead. I didn't know when I started feeling differently for him, but whenever I looked at him, I would always feel a particular squeeze of my heart. Those days he didn't speak to me. It felt like a part of me was dying. I didn't like that feeling, which is why I decided never to repeat what I did. He murmured something under his breath and smiled. My stupid heart jumped in my chest. Not for the first time, I was awed by his handsomeness. I know I'm handsome and all that, but there's just this angelic look he always has. He looks like an innocent baby. “Good morning,” I whispered before I drew away from the bed. I reached for my boxers and turned to smile at him. Last night, I thought he would fuck me. I didn't want to say it out loud, but I missed him. Well, that bastard just h
“What do you want, Kai?”“Are you seeing someone new? Is that what this is about? I just ate out once with a man for a business dinner, and you're acting rebellious? Is that why you want to replace me?”I wanted to tell him there was nothing like that. There's absolutely no way I would ever have anyone other than him. I have only ever loved one man all my life, and that man is standing in front of me. “Why? Are you jealous?”He scoffed. “Do your worst. It's not as if I care. Just so you know, I'm not letting you touch me if you're sleeping around!”“Sounds fair to me.”His jaw almost dropped to the floor. “What the fuck?”“You said I shouldn't touch you if I'm sleeping around, right? So I won't touch you. That's fair enough, isn't it?”"Stein —" He bit off my name like it tasted foul. The muscle in his jaw jumped as he narrowed his eyes. “You're impossible,” he spat. “You know that? Completely, utterly impossible.”He spun on his heel and strode toward his room. “Don't you fucking ev
STEIN I listened until he stopped pacing and went to bed. He didn't even have his bath, and that made me happy. He must be frustrated. I bet he wasn't expecting my silence. Well, this is just the start of it. If you don't train your dog, he will destroy your property. To get him to behave, I need to train him. I woke up before him like I did every day and made breakfast. Unlike what I normally did, I only made breakfast for myself. I didn't even make extra for him. I was almost done with breakfast when he showed up, looking grumpy as hell. He looked as if he didn't have a comfortable sleep last night, and his hair looked like something a bird had nested on. “Good morning,” I muttered to him as I took a bite of the sandwich. He glared. “Where's my breakfast?” “I didn't make any for you.”He opened his mouth, snapped it close, then tilted his head. “Why?”“I have an early morning appointment with Jonas, and don't have the time to spare. If you want breakfast, make one yourself.” I
