Chapter 11 - Aurora

He left!? 

After what happened, what almost happened, he just left. 

I'm so confused. 

He'd looked so hurt, I don't understand what's going on, he could have any girl, has had most of them, everyone knows Shane Woodson doesn't do more than one night stands. 

So why's he worried about what I'll feel like tomorrow? What's he playing at? 

Pulling my dress back on and straightening my hair out, I grab the bottle of sambuca and head downstairs, carefully since the floor seems to be dropping away from me every time I take a step. The party's still going strong and despite checking all over the house, Shane's nowhere to be found. I feel the desperate need to apologise to him, to ask him to come back and tell him that I don't hate him. To erase the hurt that was on his face before he left and ask him what's really going on.
