Mom is watching television after we finished dinner. I'm sitting beside her, looking at the television set without any attention. My mind is being loaded with tons of thoughts with every passing second. I wonder if I did a mistake by leaving my job. Though Adavan didn't come across me at the classes today, I didn't feel like to be anywhere near him. The whole day passed, but I'm still trying to forget that bitter experience. His words are still pinching my ears, making me regret on my decision.
"Will you open the door?", mom jerks me as I come out of my thoughts.
"W..what?", I mumble, moving a bit on the couch.
"Didn't you hear? Someone is on the door", she says, leaving the remote beside me. "Anyway, you sit here. I'll check"
