Chapter 10

"Kadmiel!"

I stomped my feet as I became more problematic. We're about to leave and visit his family yet he's still not giving me any idea on what to bring as a present that his family would like.

"I said anything will do, Katriel."

"I want a specific one." I groaned.

Kadmiel sighed and held my waist as he pulled me closer to him. He's sitting on the couch while I'm standing in front of him, in between his thighs.

"My family won't mind whatever you will bring, Katriel. It's the thought that counts. They will be happy with anything. I swear," he calmly told me as he softly kissed my tummy.

"You better be right," I warned. I just felt him chuckle and didn't say anything more.

We stopped by the mall as I opted to buy cake for his family. As we're heading to their house, my heart won't stop beating loudly. I am really nervous for some reason!

"Relax." Kadmiel held my hand and kissed it. I didn't say anything. No matter how he tries to say it many times, my nerves won't just calm down!
