MasukOn my bed beside me sat the crisp white box, its gold ribbon glowing in the morning sun and radiating danger and promise. My heart hammered as I recalled the words in the attached note. For some reason, I couldn’t shake its words or understand their meaning.
“You’re our queen?” I repeated as the room spun as I thought of the possibility, but what did this mean? Why and how was I chosen to be their queen- why me, and why now?
A rush of shame from the dream I had come over me, and at the same time, longing and disbelief tangled in my chest. “Is that what I truly desire?”
I shook my head in disbelief. “Oh, I don’t even know who I am anymore.”
I snatched up the scattered papers, desperate for answers. The words on the page blurred as I fought to steady my breath. This wasn’t just a dream—it was the start of something wild and terrifyingly real. The thought of having power over these men that way was thrilling, and I’d never imagined anything like it before.
“What is happening to me?” I whispered, voice trembling. “It was only a dream. But dreams weren’t meant to feel this real.” My pulse thundered as I gripped the papers. I had to know—what exactly had I been chosen for?
The invitation was clear and impossible to ignore: “You are cordially invited to participate in a contest for your one true love here in Pleasure Paradise.”
My mind raced back to that fateful night at Mark’s club and that pot of gold contest, and the mysterious prize I’d won, supposedly a date with the Boss.
“Oh, my GoBossheBosss wasn’t MarBoss
I became dizzy as I held my head. Nothing made sense now. Who is The Boss? Diamante? Blaze? My thoughts tangled, confusion feeding my adrenaline as I realized the contest in the club was somehow connected to all of this. I picked up the note again and read:
“You will spend the next few days and nights on various dates with all three men individually.”
The words burned into me—this was real. Three men. One island. My heart wasn’t just on the line—my entire future was.
Wait—three men? I’d only met two. Then, a flash: the third, wild and naked under the waterfall, his eyes meeting mine, electric and unforgettable. Desire and fear were warring inside me.
My eyes flew wide. “Whoa... yes!” The words tumbled out before I could stop them, wild laughter bubbling up as I clapped a hand over my mouth. Adrenaline and something hotter surged through my veins.
The note continued. “You will go on three fabulous dates around the island with each man.”
My heart pounded. I jumped up, the reality smashing into me. There was no turning back. The air was thick with promise—and danger. My world was about to change forever, and I could feel it in my bones.
I was wide awake. I felt the creases around my eyes fill with even more water. Tears flowed down my cheeks as my brain shouted, “This is reality!” I thought as the warm tears greeted my face.
Tears streamed down my face. “Three exceptionally good-looking men...” I choked, barely able to breathe. “How is this my life? What did I do to be able to have this kind of power? Before this, I couldn’t even land one date back home. Now this? Please let this be real. Or at least let me survive it.”
Every part of me buzzed with fear and wild hope.
The instructions say, You are cordially invited to participate in a contest for your one true love of pleasure, Paradise. You will spend private time getting acquainted and familiar with each young man. But we do have a few rules that we need to discuss. We know dating can involve intimacy. But we want to make sure you feel comfortable. So, we would allow some physical contact, but no sexual intercourse.
“What? Who came up with these antiquated rules?” I thought, even though I didn’t know if I wanted intimacy, even though I keep having these wet, exotic dreams about it.
“If this rule is broken, you will immediately be disqualified from going on the rest of the dates, and your decision will be sealed. Then you will be subject to marrying the person you broke the rules with, even if it’s not the man you want to marry. We don’t want blood spilled because of a lack of loyalty. These men’s hearts can be treacherous if they feel played. And who can know what one might do? So please, for your sake and safety, stick to the rules of the game no matter what.”
The rules were clear-cut and straightforward. Each date will last one day. Each date will be in the guy’s chosen setting; physical contact is allowed. (Hand holding, hugs, complete body contact, kissing, caressing, but no intercourse.) Willpower must be exercised.
A wild laugh escaped me as I read the rules. “his is insane,” I muttered, caught somewhere between hysteria and thrill. Was I really supposed to trust my heart—not just my hunger? The stakes were dangerously high. This wasn’t a game at all; it was a test, with love—or heartbreak—waiting at the finish line.
“We are hoping and trusting you will stick to the rules.”
At the end of the contest, when you decide you are not romantically interested in two of the guys, you must think carefully about someone from your family, friends, or co-workers whom you would like to have this amazing experience with. A woman who would like to join you on the island to date and marry the man or men you have rejected. You must carefully complete a questionnaire about the person you consider inviting to reside on the island. Once again, the person must be loyal and trustworthy and have characteristics like yourself.”
My excitement limited my thoughts. ‘Oh, does this mean I will get to go home and bring someone here to the island with me?’ I looked down at the last question in the instructions.
“So, are you ready for your unimaginable dating experience?”
“Too bad I can’t have you right now,” Blaze murmured, glancing around conspiratorially before stealing a kiss—and then another, his hands roaming boldly. It was reckless, thrilling, and the man he used to be took whatever he wanted. He seemed to have vanished when he was near her. He’d always been careful, always loyal. But this was about love, love for one woman, Charlize, and he wanted to break all the rules if it meant he could be with her.But it was dark, and the only thing you could see was the stars reflecting off the water.“Wait, wait, babe,” Charlize mumbled, smiling, while his lips still moved hungrily against the soft skin on her breast.“Mm...” Blaze mumbled as his lips gradually stopped moving until they reached hers, lightly pressing against them. He opened his eyes and saw the stars and moon above. He smiled softly, pecking them again, then backed up and took her hand, sliding it up her inner thigh. Charlize squirmed as she took hold of his fingers and surprisingly smi
Blaze’s heart sped up as he took in a deep breath. Charlize gazed over her shoulder at him with those beautiful sable eyes. She felt his chest inhale and exhale against her back.Charlize turned around, facing him, gently placing her hands flat against his chest. Blaze saw the serene look in her eyes, saying something different from her words. He could see she didn’t feel uneasy and that she was letting her guard down. In that moment, Blaze felt she might just surrender her heart to him. It was something he had been dreaming about lately, being within her heart, but he was waiting for her to invite him in.But will she?Blaze, a responsible man, knew how deep she was in this. He didn’t take it lightly; it was her decision, and hers alone. But he knew what he was offering her. He felt the weight of being fully responsible for her fragile heart if she selected him.He felt honored and saw it as a privilege to be the one she was submitting her heart to, but he wanted her heart to be full
Charlize’s heart hammered in her chest the moment Blaze walked into the candlelit room—a vision so magnetic the world seemed to tilt. Every nerve in her body sparked with life, anticipation, and fear, electrifying her veins. This was it. This was the moment everything would change.“I have this vision of you in my head, and I can’t talk about it.” He chuckled. “I love what I see... and what you are doing to me.”Charlize softly gasped, smiling, as he stole her breath away. She put her hand over her mouth. “Blaze!”“I know I requested you tell me one thing. But you got me curious now. What’s your next thought?” Even though Charlize wanted to hear more, she didn’t know if she could handle it. With him looking so fine and sexy, talking in this manner would be too much for any girl to handle.“Well... it’s time for you to come home to me.”Charlize leaned forward, truly curious now. Then, with her eyes peering intently at him, she asked.“Home where?”“My home......I want you to be my fam
A crisp black envelope, trimmed in silver, waited on Charlize’s door. She barely finished reading the first line—Where dreams come true—before her heart skipped. Ball gowns. Tuxes. A night of gliding across the dance floor, of promises whispered with the ocean breeze. The invitation was pure temptation. “Will you be my partner this Saturday?” She was already reaching for her favorite dress. The only rule you need to be concerned with is saying yes to a night of fun as I drench you in romance! We will have an adventure as we sail across the ocean.I want this date to be one you’ll never forget. Forever Blaze ~Charlize couldn’t hide her smile. “Blaze, you really know how to sweep a girl off her feet.”That evening, Blaze arrived with no rough edges, exposed muscles, or tattoos. He looked devastatingly handsome in an all-black tuxedo. He carried himself with the confidence of a man who’d come to win her heart, not just impress her. Charlize’s heart stuttered at the sight of him, heat r
Charlize barely had time to catch her breath before sultry music filled the air—Diamante’s doing. She realized he wasn’t there to play around with her as he gave her this wicked grin. In a heartbeat, he began to move slowly and salaciously, deliberate, a tease bordering on reckless. He started to undress, and her heart hammered, nerves ricocheting into excitement. She couldn’t look away. Tonight, nothing would stay hidden.Diamante froze—a first for him. Dancing came easy, but tonight he was off-balance, undone by the way she watched him. Still, he flashed a cocky smile and started unbuttoning his shirt, slow enough for her to whisper, “Hurry, baby.” Every move was a dare. He watched her body react, the air between them charged with wild hunger. It hit him: they both wanted the same thing. Her gaze locked on the way his hips rolled, every movement both loose, sensual, and filled with hunger. Diamante’s lean, muscled frame was on full display. Once he got going, he was impossible to lo
A sharp rap at her door yanked Charlize from tangled dreams. She barely had time to process the heat lingering from last night’s kiss when a new voice—warm, playful—cut through the morning. The sun was up, but her heart was still racing. Today would not let her hide from trouble, or romance, for long.“Good morning, sunshine!” Diamante said, standing outside Charlize’s bungalow door.Light poured through the glass as Charlize blinked awake. There he was—a tall, charming figure, backlit by the sun, grinning at her door. She tried to push the memory of last night’s stolen heat aside, but it clung to her skin. No time to breathe. No time to forget. Another pulse of possibility waited on the threshold.Diamante, the youngest of the group, had to stand out. He had one shot to make her forget every other man. A bold move—something unforgettable—would be the only way.Diamante said, “Today is our day together, without any restrictions. Are you ready for some fun?”“Wait a minute, Mr. no rest
