Chapter 1 - Georgia discovers the identity of that man.

Georgia let out a heavy sigh, really hoping she would never have to cross paths with that man again in her life. He seemed to be one of those arrogant bastards who thought that with money they could own anything they wanted, including people.

Ugh! Georgia hated that kind of people.

"Why do you have that constipated face?" Valery asked, coming out of the bathroom stall that Georgia had just entered.

"Have you been in here the whole time?" Georgia frowned.

"Yes, I told you I was sick, it wasn't a lie" Valery grumbled. "But, by the look on your face, it seems like you were the sick one" she teased her friend.

"Thanks to your illness I had to deal with the most arrogant man on earth, you should have seen him! With that serious face and that look of 'you have to do what I say and that's it'" Georgia huffed. "I want you to know that you owe me a very big favor."

Valery thought about it for a couple of seconds. "Wait, what was so bad that he did?"

Georgia told her the story, even those details that made her look pathetic. When the woman finished the story, Valery was about to scream.

"Do you really not know who he is?" she asked, as if ignoring the identity of that man was completely absurd.

"Well, no" Georgia shrugged indifferently.

"Georgia! His name is Alessandro Mascherano and he is the CEO of one of the most important investment companies in the whole fucking country" she yelled. "You sat at the table with one of the five most important and millionaire men here. Do you still complain? I would have given anything for him to have turned around and looked at me, even more, I would have fed his child even if I wasn't forced to."

Georgia rolled her eyes.

"On the contrary, I don't drop my pants for every man I see."

"He's not just any man!" she yelled, shaking her.

"Whoever he is, he has ruined my day, thank goodness I'll never have to see him again!" she sighed in relief.

"If you keep being so bitter, you're going to end up single and bored" Valery teased, but that was really a thought that didn't bother Georgia at all. "But don't worry, I'll make sure your romantic destiny takes a turn."

Georgia preferred to stay silent, she knew that those words could only mean one thing. Valery was quite a predictable woman.

"We're going out partying! And before you say no, let me remind you that the last time you left me hanging, so you can't refuse" she started jumping in place. "It's Friday, Georgia, let's move our bones!" she danced out of the bathroom.

Georgia shook her head, but smiled. Definitely Valery had the ability to cheer anyone up with that attitude, and although she wasn't a big fan of going out partying, maybe a little fun wouldn't hurt.

The day passed quickly amid all the work that had to be done and Valery's threats that Georgia wouldn't refuse to attend.

"Where are you supposed to take me?" Georgia asked, while she and her friend dressed and put makeup on at Valery's house.

"First things first, you can't go dressed like this! Here, put this on" Valery handed her one of her dresses. "It's a luck that we're the same size."

"I can't wear this, Valery, it's too much for me, besides, what's wrong with what I'm wearing?" Georgia looked at her clothes and Valery did the same, frowning at the boring black dress Georgia was wearing.

"Girl, the idea is to have fun and believe me, you won't achieve it with that outfit, so, for your own good, give the dress I gave you a chance."

Georgia knew how annoying Valery could get, so, against her own will, she changed her clothes.

"This is what I call an extreme change" Valery smiled satisfactorily at her friend.

The red dress fit Georgia’s perfect areas shrunk her waist and emphasized her nice curves.

After being ready, the two women took a taxi and went to the bar.

"It's a new and very exclusive place" Valery explained, while shaking her red hair.

"And how are we going to get in?"

"I'm friends with the security gorilla, don't worry about anything."

Georgia and Valery entered the place as if they were VIP customers, they didn't even have to queue.

"See? Some things are easy when you're beautiful" she yelled.

As soon as they were inside and immersed in the hot atmosphere where music was playing, Georgia felt the gaze of many people on her body. At any other time that would have made her feel uncomfortable, but right there, after having suffered a humiliation like that morning, she allowed herself to feel just the opposite. Inside that bar, she was not just any waitress, but a woman admired by many. She liked that feeling.

"It can't be! I'm coming, I have to greet someone" Valery yelled excitedly.

"Valery, you can't leave me alone! We haven't even reached the bar" Georgia scolded her, but Valery didn't listen and continued on her way.

With no other alternative, Georgia went to the bar and ordered a glass of water because she really didn't have money to pay for a drink.

"It's a strange choice" a very attractive man said, approaching her and referring to the drink.

"I don't like alcohol much" Georgia replied kindly.

That handsome man managed to get her attention with that apparently charming smile.

"Let me order something that you'll probably like" he ordered a Martini from the bartender and gave it to Georgia, who received it, after all, it was good to have company after Valery had made one of her many disappearing tricks.

Without realizing when it happened, Georgia continued drinking Martini after Martini, that stranger was right, the drink was delicious and she already had about five, which had given her enough courage to dance with him.

"I hope you'll let me dance with you again" he said, but she didn't hear him, partly because of the music and partly because she was already a little drunk.

"I can't hear you!"

The man took advantage of that to approach Georgia's ear. "I hope you'll give me another dance" he whispered very close to her, so close that it began to discomfort Georgia. "Although if you prefer, we could go to another place, something more private and quieter."

Georgia wasn't in her five senses, however she knew she couldn't accept that offer.

"I'm sorry, I can't, I have to find my friend."

"That excuse is a little worn out" he mocked.

She raised her head and began to search for Valery among all the people, what she least wanted was for that man to get heavy.

"I'm sorry, I have to go" she tried to get away, but he grabbed her hand with force.

"You're not going to go, Georgia, you're not going to leave me alone after we were having such a good time" suddenly, his face changed, he no longer seemed so kind or polite as a few minutes ago and that shook the woman. "I don't want to sound presumptuous, but since I saw you I knew you were the woman I wanted to leave this bar with tonight."

Georgia made a face. "I'm not going to go with you, so leave me alone!" despite trying to make her voice sound strong and severe, the truth was that the alcohol gave her a funny accent.

"Come on, I promise you won't regret it" he brought his lips to her neck, trying to kiss her and grope her at the same time.

"Let me go!" Georgia tried to resist, but he was stronger.

"Miss has said to leave her alone," said a male voice, pulling the man by the shirt he was wearing. "Do you need me to explain it to you in another way?" He didn't wait for the other man to respond, but instead gave him a first punch, and after starting, he couldn't stop.

Georgia was unable to react, she was in shock, she didn't understand where that man had come from to save her, the only thing she understood was that right there, he was beating her aggressor, who was already practically unconscious.

When the other man got tired of hitting, he looked up to see Georgia, who was still standing there. Georgia only needed those few seconds to recognize those emerald, green eyes.

"Alessandro?"
