"What are you doing? How did you know I was here?" She asked, confused.
Alessandro heard the way she dragged out her words, and then the blood finally rushed to his head. If there was one thing the man hated, it was irresponsibility, and without a doubt that was exactly what she was being with herself, irresponsible.
"You're coming with me!" He said, clenching his jaw and looking at her with hate.
"Where are we going? What are you talking about?" Georgia looked around, but after what Alessandro did to that man, it seemed that no one was willing to mess with him - I didn't come alone.
"Your friend is doing just fine with one of her friends," he replied.
"How did you know I was here? Wait! I need explanations!" She demanded angrily. Who did Alessandro Mascherano think he was, dragging her out of the bar?
"Instead of asking stupid questions, you should be grateful that I saved your butt, that idiot inside was in every possibility and desire to take you to an alley, strip you of your clothes and leave you stranded, and by the smell of your mouth and the way you speak, I think it wouldn't have been hard to achieve."
Georgia shifted her weight from one foot to the other, also swallowing her saliva. She felt ridiculous, like an adolescent with no control over herself.
"Either way, you have no right to scold me, I'm an adult woman!" As she said the last part, a hiccup came out of her mouth.
Alessandro rolled his eyes - I really don't care about you, Georgia, consider this what I'm doing as my act of generosity for the day, so stop giving me a headache, and let's go, I'll take you home." He grabbed her hand and pulled her through the crowd of people dancing.
As she felt his hand tightly holding hers, a shiver ran down Georgia's spine. Even his touch was arrogant and possessive, just like the rest of him, but for some reason the woman didn't try to break free.
"Hey! It's really not necessary for you to take me home, I'll call a taxi. Besides, Valery will have to come back for me at some point," she shouted for him to hear over the music.
Indeed, Alessandro heard her, but her words didn't matter to him at all.
When they crossed the exit door of the bar, Georgia began to feel dizzy. The cold of the night hit her body and, above all, her drunkenness.
"I think I'm... going to..." She stuttered and passed out.
Alessandro let out a growl, held her in his arms, and when the car parked in front of them, he picked her up and placed her in the back seat.
"Let's go to the apartment," he said to the driver.
In the car, Alessandro had the opportunity to detail Georgia more, without a doubt she was a very attractive woman. Her brown hair perfectly stood out with her white skin, that, not to mention those blue eyes that seemed to darken when she was angry. She was a very pretty woman, although unfortunately for Alessandro, that was not a quality that seemed enough to him. In the world there were millions of beautiful women and he had been with some of the most beautiful, so he was not impressed.
As soon as they were in front of the man's apartment, he called her to see if she could walk on her own, but Georgia was still unconscious, so to avoid more conflicts, he carried her on his back and got on the elevator with her.
There he had a perfect view of her backside, which was also quite pretty. What was not pleasant was that dress that was too extravagant for Alessandro's taste.
When they were in the apartment, the man took her to the guest room and placed her on the bed. Then he took off her shoes, and although the idea of taking off her dress was damn provocative, the man preferred not to do it and instead put the blankets on her and left the room.
The next morning, Georgia woke up with a hangover from hell, her head hurt and her body felt numb, but none of these things was as worrying as not knowing whose bed she had awakened in.
"Where the hell am I?" She asked herself, looking around - What did I do last night? She looked under the sheets, fortunately she still had her underwear and dress on.
Suddenly, the sound of a door opening caught her attention. Georgia didn't know whose house this was, so she stood up and hid.
Just at that moment, Alessandro, who had just returned from exercising, took off his shirt, left it in the dirty laundry basket, and headed to the guest room to make sure Georgia had woken up and could leave his apartment.
Since it was his house, the man didn't bother knocking, he just opened the door, taking the woman by surprise.
"Who are you?" She yelled, throwing herself at him to hit him - Why am I here?
Alessandro looked at her as if she were crazy, grabbed her hands so she wouldn't hit him and neutralized her with his strength, still, she didn't stop writhing and moving.
"Why do you like to make your life so complicated, Georgia?" He growled, taking her to the bed, once there, he got on top of her, pressed his knees against hers and held her wrists against the mattress.
As she saw him, Georgia's heart raced and her hair stood on end. It was him! The man from the restaurant, the same one who almost ran her over and who saved her the night before. Little by little, the memories from the bar came to her mind, making her blush. Although perhaps that reddish color on her skin was not just the product of memories, but also of the fact that on top of her was the most handsome man she had ever seen in her life, he was sweaty and, to make matters worse, he wasn't wearing a shirt. That was a dangerous combination.
"Get off of me!" She exclaimed, trying to regain her composure.
The truth was that suddenly her legs trembled, her hands were sweaty and she had to run her tongue over her momentarily dry lips.
"Why did you bring me to your house? What the hell do you want from me?" Georgia didn't plan to show vulnerability towards him, even though it was true that the man was extremely intriguing, handsome and interesting, she wasn't going to allow herself to behave like a schoolgirl, much less when it came to someone with Alessandro's ego.
"Do you really think I brought you here on purpose?" He whispered, raising an eyebrow - Do you have so much confidence in yourself that you believe someone like me could be interested in someone like you? - That question was practically a mockery.
"Yes," she replied, lifting her chin haughtily - It seems like you haven't stopped chasing me since we met.
Alessandro let out a dry laugh that enraged her.
"You must be joking."
Georgia's stern look made the man understand that she wasn't playing, and if she wasn't going to do it, then he was willing to give her a spoonful of her own medicine so she would stop being so presumptuous.
"You're right - he suddenly let out.
Georgia frowned, confused, but at the same time tried to keep her poker face as much as possible.
"Since I saw you at the restaurant I haven't been able to stop thinking about you for a single minute, you've bewitched me," he let go of one of her hands, just to stroke her cheek, it was then that he felt he had her eating out of the palm of his hand. Although he had released one of his hands, she didn't seem willing to move away from him. "I haven't been able to stop thinking about your gaze, that smile you have, I haven't stopped thinking about your curves and that way you have of trying to challenge me."
Georgia squirmed under his body, but not exactly because she was wanting him to get off of her, if not because suddenly, an electric shock had passed through the middle of her legs.
"Are you going to end my agony, Georgia?" he passed his thumb over her lips, provoking her.
"What are you talking about?"
"About a kiss from you" Georgia's body practically trembled under the man's words.
Without saying more, Alessandro slowly brought his mouth to the woman's, making her believe that he was going to kiss her. Georgia was practically about to faint, so the only thing she could do to avoid embarrassment was to close her eyes.
While she was like this, with her lips slightly open and her eyes closed, Alessandro laughed.
"Really pathetic!" he exclaimed, getting up.
Georgia took a few seconds to realize what was happening, but as soon as she understood it, she felt the blush running through her cheeks, she was completely embarrassed.
"No Georgia, I'm not chasing you, I'm not interested in you at all, the truth is that last night an idiot was about to drag you into an alley, what I did for you was a matter of decency."
Although part of this was true, it was not the absolute truth.
Georgia wanted to scream at him that he was an idiot, but the shame she felt was so great that she simply preferred to get up from the bed and leave the room. As she did this, she ran into the body of a child, who looked at her with wide open eyes.
"What are you doing here?" he asked in a childish voice, while looking into the room from which she had just left.
"Me, um..." Georgia hesitated, she really didn't know what the appropriate answer was.
"Will you be my new mom?" the child got excited.
It had been a long time since the little one insisted to his father that he wanted to have a mom, everyone at school had one except him and that made the little one's heart hurt.
"No!" She opened her eyes in surprise.
Although Alessandro was listening to everything, he preferred not to intervene because it was very funny to see Georgia being cornered by a child.
"You'll be my mom and you'll feed me every day!" he jumped around Georgia "I like you; you'll be the best mom in the world." He yelled "come on, I'll show you my playroom, I'll show you my favorite toys."
"I can't..." she looked back, hoping that Alessandro would rescue her from this situation.
"Leave her alone, Thomas" said Alessandro "and you, Georgia, come here, there are still matters I need to resolve with you, unless you prefer to stay in the same position you are now."
Georgia knew exactly what he was referring to, so, trying to escape the uncomfortable questions of the child, she turned to go back to the room.
As she did this, she saw the satisfied face of Alessandro and wanted to break it into many little pieces, Georgia was not a strong woman or someone who knew how to fight, but at that moment she had so much anger that she was sure she could give a couple of punches and even kicks. That man frustrated her!
Alessandro liked to enjoy that angry face of hers, he liked to challenge her, there was something satisfying in seeing her lose, but also in noticing each of her efforts to win.
It was clear that Georgia was not an easy woman, but Alessandro was not a pushover either.
"What do you want?" she growled when she was in front of him.
He smiled and closed the door.
Alessandro lay in the oppressive darkness of the basement, a prisoner of the enemy criminal organization that had sworn his destruction. Every passing second felt like an eternity of suffering, especially because the place was a perfect image of horror—an abandoned dungeon where dampness and mold clung to the walls as silent witnesses of his misfortune, much like the shackles on his wrists and ankles that bit into his skin, marking his body as a constant reminder of his helplessness. The stale air infiltrated his lungs as the cold intertwined with his bones. A single light bulb hung from the ceiling, casting a faint light that barely managed to illuminate the sordid space. Alessandro could hear the distant sounds of the city outside that hellish place, a cruel irony that reminded him of how close he was to freedom and how far it seemed at the same time. That night, Domenico, his declared enemy, entered the basement with a ruthless smile on his face. He knew he had Alessandro exactly w
The sun rose majestically over the horizon as Georgia observed the landscape from the airplane window. Her heart was pounding in her chest as the plane descended towards the airport of her hometown. She was finally coming back home, although it wasn't entirely positive. It wasn't a return to enjoy the golden beaches or the tropical climate. It was a return filled with uncertainty and, ironically, hope at the same time.Georgia looked at her children, Eva, who was peacefully asleep in her arms, and Thomas, who was happily playing, searching for shapes in the clouds. Their eyes shone with excitement for the journey and adventure that awaited them. Amidst it all, they also longed for a reunion with their father, Alessandro, who had mysteriously disappeared. The plane landed smoothly, and Georgia felt a surge of emotion coursing through her body. She held Eva in her arms and took Thomas' hand as they made their way towards the exit, which was crowded with people. But Georgia remained focu
Georgia was completely torn apart. She felt nauseous, and the world was shifting beneath her feet. This couldn't be true. The love of her life couldn't be in danger. After everything they had gone through to finally be together, life couldn't be so unfair as to separate them, especially with a baby on the way. When Georgia thought about Eva, her heart squeezed even tighter. If something happened to Alessandro, the baby wouldn't have the chance to know him or enjoy everything he could offer as a father. Alessandro was a wonderful man who loved his daughter. Destiny couldn't deny him the opportunity to see her grow and be there for every stage of Eva's life. And then there was Thomas, who had barely begun to enjoy having his father around. After hanging up with her father, Georgia needed someone to talk to about it. Since her father didn't answer, she called her best friend Valery to help clear her head."You need to calm down, Georgia," said Valery, feeling powerless being so far away.
That afternoon, Georgia wasn't feeling well. Her heart hadn't stopped racing, and she was starting to experience arrhythmia. But that was the least of her worries. Instead, she couldn't stop thinking about Alessandro. Georgia even tried to find distractions in other places, like taking Thomas to the beach, but nothing seemed to be enough. She felt trapped in that hotel room where she couldn't stop seeing the ghost of her husband. With that lingering premonition, Georgia picked up her phone to check if she had any messages or calls from Alessandro. But there was nothing. It was as if he had literally vanished from the face of the earth. Georgia wasn't going to settle for that simple absence and vague note, so she took the initiative to call him once again. As the call went to voicemail, she let out a sigh and went to tend to the baby, who started crying."It's alright, little Eva. Mommy is here with you," Georgia held Eva and rocked her around the room. That day, even Eva seemed more r
After his plane had landed back in the city, Alessandro immediately headed to the Black Temple facilities, where everyone eagerly awaited their leader. Despite the decision for Black Temple to launch the first attack under Jeremy's leadership, Alessandro had second thoughts and refused that possibility. He wanted to be the one to deliver the final blow, and something told him it would happen exactly on that day."How is Georgia?" Jeremy asked directly, without beating around the bush, as soon as he saw his neuro enter through the building's doors.Alessandro felt a lump in his throat before responding. His dark eyes reflected a mixture of determination and concern. "She's fine," he stated confidently. "I've taken all necessary precautions to keep her safe.""And the baby?" the man questioned."The baby is with Georgia, which means she's fine," Alessandro replied, trying not to dwell on the family he had left behind on their honeymoon.Jeremy nodded, but his expression remained skeptic
Gloomy and sinister, the meeting room of the Black Temple was a refuge for shadows. Jeremy, the patriarch and leader appointed by Alessandro, sat at the head of the table, observing each member of the organization with cold eyes. Silence hung in the air, only interrupted by the whisper of darkness."Tomorrow is the day," Jeremy announced with a deep and authoritative voice. "It is our responsibility to ensure that the enemy camp will be unprotected and weakened when Alessandro arrives. Our opportunity to eliminate them once and for all."The eyes of those present lit up with a mixture of excitement and determination. They knew it was a risky mission, but they trusted Jeremy's strategic ability and leadership. Of course, not everyone was happy with his appointment, but after suffering so many casualties, the desire for revenge outweighed the urge to question the boss's decisions.Jeremy distributed photographs of the enemy leaders and detailed maps of the camp. Each member of the organ
