A downfall

Noah was in a completely different part of the city. He had finished his meeting, and was about to head into the next.

Work was perfect at usual. He barely had anything to worry about because he had the most trustworthy and efficient team.

“Sir, they cancelled the meeting last minute. They said that there are no problems with the arrangement and even sent the signed document via mail.” Sarah explained, dropping an ipad with the signed document in front of her boss.

He smiled, “Effective as ever Sarah.”

Search adjusted her glasses, pushing a stray strand of her chestnut hair out of her face. “Thank you sir,” she said, making her way for the door which was already ajar.

The door swung open and a figure emerged from the other side. Sarah very close to being hit. Luckily she jumped out of the was just in time.

“Are you okay?” Gerald Buford asked Sarah who looked incredibly startled. He went ahead to check for any injuries.
