Raven’s POV.

The battlefield was covered in blood, the air filled with blood scent. The full moon shone down, casting light over the fight happening below. Growls and howls filled the night as we fought with the Lycans.

For centuries, they had hunted us, killing our kind without mercy, and we have had enough of the torture. Werewolves have decided to fight back for their land and that was what we have been doing for almost a decade now, and that is what we are doing now.

My pack fought with everything they had, the Lycans were bigger, stronger, faster, more ruthless, but my people were more determined, desperate to fight for what they had lost.

Their claws sinking into the Lycans flesh, their teeth tore into bodies. The ground was filled with the dead—ours and theirs.

At first, we were winning against them. We pushed them back, attacking with all our strength. The Lycans were not ones to retreat but I actually saw some running away like the cowards they were.

We were definitely going to win this war. This Lycan pack was actually stronger than the ones that we had previously defeated, they were definitely ten times stronger than the last pack and I would give them the praise but even with their strength, we were still winning and this pack would soon be among the many Lycan packs defeated…under my reign.

I saw Damien, my second-in-command and Beta, rip out the throat of a Lycan with one powerful swipe. Blood sprayed everywhere as the creature collapsed.

Nearby, Richard, our fastest fighter and Gamma of my pack, moved like a shadow, striking before the Lycans even saw him coming.

I fought beside them, my  claws tore into the Lycans, my fangs sinking into flesh, my mouth dripping with blood—their blood, the Lycan blood covered my fur.

We were close to victory, I could feel it.

Then suddenly everything changed.

A deep, bone-chilling howl echoed through the night, It came from the woods beyond the battlefield.

“More Lycans,” I growled, snarling in the woods. My eyes filled with venom.

My people froze, staring deep into the woods, ready to tear apart the next troupe of Lycans coming our way.

The forest trees started shaking, loud thud emerging from the woods, whatever that was, it or they were fucking big.

My eyes widened in alarm, as I locked eyes with one of the Lycan who walked out of the woods.

“Alphas.”

Not one, not two but ten of them.

This was the first time we were fighting with Lycan Alphas, although we defeated more than ten Lycan packs, we haven't really fought with their alphas.

I always wondered where the Lycan Alphas run to, but now I know where they all ran to. They were standing right in front, they actually teamed up to fight us. And everyone knows that it can take more than ten wolves to beat up a Lycan Alpha but ten of them, I don't know how we would pull that off, with the little men we have left.

The Lycan Alphas howled together, their voices shaking the ground which made my people stagger backwards in fear, even I was a little afraid.  My people were already exhausted from the earlier fight and just when we thought it was finally over, it turned out it was just the beginning.

This was definitely a trap.

“We have to retreat,” Richard shouted, his loud ringing voice echoing in my head.

I turned to him with a glare, I have told him several times not to shout, we are all synced together, we can all hear his thoughts loud and clear.

“Enough,” Damien scolded him, gritting his teeth. “Stop discouraging the others, we fight to our last.”

“Exactly,” I roared, stepping forward. “We do not retreat, We fight for every werewolf they have killed! We fight for our future! Stand your ground!”

My words brought back the determination and anger in them. Their eyes burned with new fire, they howled in response, charging towards the Lycan Alphas who were also charging towards us.

The fight continued, more brutal and powerful than the earlier fight, I could hear the painful howls of my people as the Lycan Alphas tore them into pieces, bones broke under one powerful crash from the Lycan Alphas.

The Lycans fought harder, but we fought harder too.

I fought alongside my people, tackling the ones that seemed more powerful.

One of the monsters was a huge black furred beast and had red, glowing eyes. He tore through our ranks, killing my warriors like they were nothing—he was too strong.

Another one was faster. He moved like a blur, weaving between my people, slashing their throats before they could react. My people's bodies dropped down—dead as he passed them.

The third was the worst. He was covered in scars, his muscles were thick and he was almost ten times my size and he was coming straight for me.

I braced myself, preparing to take this beast down, He was fast—too fast. In seconds, he was right in front of me. I swung first, aiming for his throat, but he dodged easily.

Then he hit me, his huge body slammed into mine. I felt my ribs crack as I flew through the air, crashing onto the blood-soaked ground.

I gasped in pain, trying to get up, but he was already on me.

His breath was hot on my face, his teeth gleamed in the moonlight as his long sharp fangs reached for my throat, with all my strength, I swung my hand at his side, my claws cut deep into his flesh.

He howled in pain but that didn't stop him, It only made him angrier.

He growled, his eyes burning with rage, before I could move out of the way, his massive jaws clamped down on my side.

I howled in pain as his fangs sank deeper, my vision blurred, everything slowly fading away as it finally let me go.

The last thing I saw before everything went dark was my warriors still fighting, tears flowing down my eyes as I heard someone shouting my name in the distance.

Then everything went black.

  • She's the Alpha    An angry Beta.

AUTHOR’S POVThe forest was quiet— too quiet that even the breeze was still. Damien crouched behind a thick patch of ferns, hidden in the shadow of an ancient pine tree. His golden eyes flickered with anger, his fists clenched tightly in rage, teeth clenched so hard that blood filled his mouth as he watched the woman he was supposed to marry grind her hips against the man who had betrayed her more times than he could count.Raven’s moans echoed in the air like a dagger, each one slicing into Damien’s heart. He stayed still watching how Kai fucked Raven like she was a whore. His loud moans as he filled her up with his seed filled her womb broke him completely. She wasn’t supposed to be with him. He didn't even have the right to touch her, if anyone should be touching her it should be him. He was the one fought for her, stood by her side when no one else dared and even after everything she chose Kai. Damien turned away, swallowing the scream building in his throat. He couldn’t bear

  • She's the Alpha    We are still mates.

RAVEN'S POV. “What the hell, Kai?” I shouted, almost falling off my feet. I knew someone was following me but I didn't pick up a scent—- it's almost like Kai doesn't have a scent. “I wasn't even trying to scare you,” he smirked, taking a step closer. “You should have known my scent.”“Says the man without a scent,” I scoffed, rolling my eyes in disbelief. “Only those who are sensitive enough can pick my scent,” he explained, his voice laced with pride. “I didn't come here to argue with you,” I said, my lips pressing into a thin line. “We have broken the bond, but I still feel you, why?”That made him laugh. My brows furrowed seeing his reaction. It wasn't funny. It was a question that needed to be answered before I lost it. The bond was supposed to be broken but I could still Kai, I could still feel the connection. At first I thought it was because I was overreacting but after a while I figured that the connection was still there. “I should be asking you that,” he paused, letting

  • She's the Alpha    Just a rest.

Raven's pov. It has been weeks now and the war was still on. The Lycans were tougher than what we had expected but thanks to Kai, things were easier for us and we were finally getting closer to the Lycan Lord. We have conquered the surrounding packs and villages close to the bloodfang pack—- the Lycan Lord pack. I can't wait to meet him. I can't wait to give him the taste of his own medicine, I can't wait to burn down his palace. We returned back to our camp, after defeating another Lycan trope. My people were exhausted and so was I. We have been fighting for hours, no quick break. The closer we got to the Lycan Lord, the harder the war. And it was exhausting. I needed rest and some good wine. I fell on the bed, peeling my clothes off. Damien walked in, scaring the hell out of me. “Fuck,” I screamed, dragging a cloth abs pulled it over my chest. “What the hell man?” He chuckled, placing his lamp on the table. “I didn't mean to scare you,” he defended. “You know I'm the only o

  • She's the Alpha    First phase.

Raven’s POVA war broke out sooner than we expected, we were able to stop the Lycans from coming in but it only took two days for them to attack again but this time I was more than prepared. I stood on top of the wall, staring into the distance. The Lycans were charging towards the city gate. I turned to the sentinels besides me and gave him a nod. He nodded back and shouted down the wall. “Nightshade,” he shouted. The place erupted in shouts as our people appeared from nowhere catching the Lycans off guard but they didn't back down. Foolish Lycans. They were about to meet their end and they knew it but they wouldn't just admit it. The attack was brutal, but we had the upper hand. Lycans were falling, we were winning. I stood at the wall, giving orders to the sentinels who stayed by the gate to finish any Lycan that escaped the wrath of the first batch. The Lycans refused to retreat, they kept coming. My people retreated, allowing fresh batch to continue the fight. And we won th

  • She's the Alpha    Brother's fight.

Author’s POVThe Lycan Palace was a big and quiet place in the heart of the Lycans land. It was a monstrous silhouette etched against the ashen sky. A throne room made of black stone and blood-colored banners cast long shadows across the floor. The Lycan Lord sat upon his jagged throne — his silver beard made him look like a god, his piercing eyes dimmed with disappointment. His younger son, Allen. Kai's brother knelt before him, with one knee to the floor, his head bowed. His fists clenched besides him. The Lycan Lord stared at him for a long time without a word. His silence was enough to show his level of disappointment. But Allen wasn't moved. He plays this game more often than anyone. "You failed," the Lycan Lord finally said, voice deep and full of gravel. "You failed to bring your brother home."Allen’s jaw tensed. He raised his head slightly, eyes burning. “I followed his tracks and found him, just like I promised but it seems that the story is true, Kai just wouldn't come

  • She's the Alpha    When the flames speak.

Raven’s POVThe fire burned low in front of me, the flames licking the wood gently. My knees were pulled to my chest, my arms wrapped tight around them. Different questions that don't seem to have an answer clouded my mind. I inhaled, breaking another branch and threw it into the fire. The fire seemed to be the only thing keeping me from losing it, so I was bent on keeping alive. “You’re still thinking about him,” Leslie whispered with a sigh. “I’m trying not to.”“What exactly are you thinking about?” “You live in my head,” I replied coldly, using a branch to rearrange the burning woods. “You should know what exactly is on my mind.”“Well, it's impossible to do that because in this messed up place you call a head,” she retorted. I rolled my eyes letting out a faint groan. I definitely wasn't in the mood to welcome Leslie's annoying attitude. “What are you going to do now?” She asked. “His coming was expected but it came soon… he killed your people.”Thanks for the info.
