Raven’s POV.

The battlefield was covered in blood, the air filled with blood scent. The full moon shone down, casting light over the fight happening below. Growls and howls filled the night as we fought with the Lycans.

For centuries, they had hunted us, killing our kind without mercy, and we have had enough of the torture. Werewolves have decided to fight back for their land and that was what we have been doing for almost a decade now, and that is what we are doing now.

My pack fought with everything they had, the Lycans were bigger, stronger, faster, more ruthless, but my people were more determined, desperate to fight for what they had lost.

Their claws sinking into the Lycans flesh, their teeth tore into bodies. The ground was filled with the dead—ours and theirs.

At first, we were winning against them. We pushed them back, attacking with all our strength. The Lycans were not ones to retreat but I actually saw some running away like the cowards they were.

We were definitely going to win this war. This Lycan pack was actually stronger than the ones that we had previously defeated, they were definitely ten times stronger than the last pack and I would give them the praise but even with their strength, we were still winning and this pack would soon be among the many Lycan packs defeated…under my reign.

I saw Damien, my second-in-command and Beta, rip out the throat of a Lycan with one powerful swipe. Blood sprayed everywhere as the creature collapsed.

Nearby, Richard, our fastest fighter and Gamma of my pack, moved like a shadow, striking before the Lycans even saw him coming.

I fought beside them, my  claws tore into the Lycans, my fangs sinking into flesh, my mouth dripping with blood—their blood, the Lycan blood covered my fur.

We were close to victory, I could feel it.

Then suddenly everything changed.

A deep, bone-chilling howl echoed through the night, It came from the woods beyond the battlefield.

“More Lycans,” I growled, snarling in the woods. My eyes filled with venom.

My people froze, staring deep into the woods, ready to tear apart the next troupe of Lycans coming our way.

The forest trees started shaking, loud thud emerging from the woods, whatever that was, it or they were fucking big.

My eyes widened in alarm, as I locked eyes with one of the Lycan who walked out of the woods.

“Alphas.”

Not one, not two but ten of them.

This was the first time we were fighting with Lycan Alphas, although we defeated more than ten Lycan packs, we haven't really fought with their alphas.

I always wondered where the Lycan Alphas run to, but now I know where they all ran to. They were standing right in front, they actually teamed up to fight us. And everyone knows that it can take more than ten wolves to beat up a Lycan Alpha but ten of them, I don't know how we would pull that off, with the little men we have left.

The Lycan Alphas howled together, their voices shaking the ground which made my people stagger backwards in fear, even I was a little afraid.  My people were already exhausted from the earlier fight and just when we thought it was finally over, it turned out it was just the beginning.

This was definitely a trap.

“We have to retreat,” Richard shouted, his loud ringing voice echoing in my head.

I turned to him with a glare, I have told him several times not to shout, we are all synced together, we can all hear his thoughts loud and clear.

“Enough,” Damien scolded him, gritting his teeth. “Stop discouraging the others, we fight to our last.”

“Exactly,” I roared, stepping forward. “We do not retreat, We fight for every werewolf they have killed! We fight for our future! Stand your ground!”

My words brought back the determination and anger in them. Their eyes burned with new fire, they howled in response, charging towards the Lycan Alphas who were also charging towards us.

The fight continued, more brutal and powerful than the earlier fight, I could hear the painful howls of my people as the Lycan Alphas tore them into pieces, bones broke under one powerful crash from the Lycan Alphas.

The Lycans fought harder, but we fought harder too.

I fought alongside my people, tackling the ones that seemed more powerful.

One of the monsters was a huge black furred beast and had red, glowing eyes. He tore through our ranks, killing my warriors like they were nothing—he was too strong.

Another one was faster. He moved like a blur, weaving between my people, slashing their throats before they could react. My people's bodies dropped down—dead as he passed them.

The third was the worst. He was covered in scars, his muscles were thick and he was almost ten times my size and he was coming straight for me.

I braced myself, preparing to take this beast down, He was fast—too fast. In seconds, he was right in front of me. I swung first, aiming for his throat, but he dodged easily.

Then he hit me, his huge body slammed into mine. I felt my ribs crack as I flew through the air, crashing onto the blood-soaked ground.

I gasped in pain, trying to get up, but he was already on me.

His breath was hot on my face, his teeth gleamed in the moonlight as his long sharp fangs reached for my throat, with all my strength, I swung my hand at his side, my claws cut deep into his flesh.

He howled in pain but that didn't stop him, It only made him angrier.

He growled, his eyes burning with rage, before I could move out of the way, his massive jaws clamped down on my side.

I howled in pain as his fangs sank deeper, my vision blurred, everything slowly fading away as it finally let me go.

The last thing I saw before everything went dark was my warriors still fighting, tears flowing down my eyes as I heard someone shouting my name in the distance.

Then everything went black.

Raven's pov. I stood before the mirror, staring at my gown. It shimmered like soft moonlight. My hands trembled slightly as I adjusted the lace at my shoulder. For a long moment, I just stared at myself in the mirror. I wasn’t sure if I was ready for this new beginning. The door burst open. “Raven!” My mother called. She rushed toward me, her smile bright but her eyes wet. “The guests are waiting, dear. Everyone’s ready.”I forced a smile. “I’m coming.”She touched my cheek gently. “You look beautiful. Just like the moon goddess herself.”I laughed softly. “Let’s hope the moon goddess approves.”When I stepped into the hall, everyone stood up as I walked past them. At the front, Kai was waiting. His dark hair was brushed back, and his eyes glowed softly in the candlelight. His smile—gods, that smile—made me have butterflies in my belly. I walked slowly down the aisle, the soft music echoing through the hall. When I reached him, Kai took my arm and leaned closer. His breath brush

Raven's pov. Damien stood at the center of the cave, his eyes glowing gold, his smile sharp like a blade. The marks on our body were now glowing. I didn't know what it meant but I knew power was flowing through my veins and I was about to let it waste.“Still want to play god?” I asked.Damien smirked. “You can’t win this, Raven. You and your little mate have no idea what you’re dealing with.”Kai stepped forward, his jaw tight. “Try us.”The ground trembled as Damien raised his hands. The air around him shimmered. Black smoke curled from his palms and shot toward us. I jumped left, Kai leapt right. The smoke hit the wall behind us, exploding with a crack that made the ground shake.I rushed forward, my claws ready. Damien blocked my first swing and slammed his elbow into my ribs. Pain shot through me, but I caught his wrist before he could strike again and kicked him in the chest. He stumbled back, growling.Kai dashed in, throwing a punch that hit Damien square in the jaw. Raven’s POV“Damien!” I screamed, rage ripping through my throat. I ran straight toward him, but before I could even reach him, he lifted his hand and flicked his wrist. The air cracked like thunder.I flew backward, slamming into the cave wall. The stone tore through my back, and before I could move, an invisible force pinned me there. My body trembled under his spell.“Stay still, Raven,” he said, his voice calm but filled with poison. He took a slow step toward me, his eyes glowing with that terrible golden fire. “You never learn, do you?”“Let me go!” I shouted, struggling against the magic pressing into my chest. “You bastard—”Before I could finish, he turned his palm upward. Behind him, Kai gasped, his body lifting from the ground, floating in midair. His muscles strained, his jaw clenched in pain.“Stop it!” I cried, trying to break free, but the harder I fought, the tighter his spell gripped me.Damien smiled, stepping closer. “You should have chosen me, Raven. Raven’s POV. “Get away from my son!” I shouted. My voice echoed through the cave. The black witch lifted her head slowly, her mouth curling into a cruel smile. Before I could move closer, three men walked closer. They were tall, built like beasts, their eyes glowing faintly red.One of them grinned. “I don't think you read the sign. This place is off limits.”“I’ll tear through anyone who tries to stop me,” I hissed, flexing my claws. They laughed, spreading out around me. The biggest one lunged first, swinging a heavy arm toward my face. I ducked and slashed across his chest. He howled, but the wound only made him angrier. The second one came at me from behind. I spun and kicked him hard in the stomach. He staggered, but didn’t fall. I tried to move toward the altar, but the third blocked my path, cracking his knuckles.“Not so fast,” he said.I didn’t answer. I charged. My claws flashed, cutting across his forearm. He grabbed my wrist and slammed me back against the cave wall. P

  • She's the Alpha    The blood moon ritual.

Author’s POVThe cave was lit by a sickly red glow. Candles made of black wax flickered around the edges, their flames bending unnaturally. A thick fog rolled along the ground, swirling around Damien’s boots as he paced impatiently. In the middle of the cave stood a rough stone, an ancient altar covered in old dried blood. The black witch moved slowly around it drawing strange symbols on the stone with a dagger made from animal bone. Damien’s jaw clenched. He looked toward the small figure lying unconscious nearby — Xavier. The boy’s small chest rose and fell weakly. His wrists were bound with silver-thread ropes.“Are you done yet?” Damien asked. “The auspicious time is almost over!”The witch didn’t look up. “Do not rush me, Lord Damien. Magic like this requires patience. One mistake, and the soul will be lost forever — yours or the boy’s.”“I don’t care,” he snapped, running a hand through his hair. “Just finish it. I can feel the hour slipping away.”The witch turned slowly, h

Kai's pov.I finally got to the cave Damien asked me to meet him, something told me it was a trap but I didn't care at all. All that mattered was that I get my son out of this place immediately. I walked in looking around, there was no one there — neither was there a scent. My fists clenched in rage thinking that Damien tricked me into coming here for another reason. Just when I was about to leave, I heard a familiar voice from the shadows. “A little impatient, brother?” “Allen,” I growled, slowly turning back with a glare. “Disappointed?” He asked, stepping out from behind one of the stone pillars, with a evil smirk. I let out a low breath. “I’m not surprised you’re part of this,” I said calmly. “You never could stand losing to me. And now that I’m the Lycan Lord, I suppose jealousy finally drove you mad.”Allen laughed, his tone mocking. “Jealousy? Don’t flatter yourself, Kai. Jealousy only comes when someone that doesn't belongs to you is with another person. Mine isn't that.
