Suddenly, Evadne recalled the moment she saw Gavin again after a month in that same hotel. As he entered the hotel’s main entrance, the hotel staff respectfully bowed to greet him.

Now, being with Gavin again and witnessing the same scene, a shiver ran through every inch of her body. It felt like she was walking with a king beside her. If she weren’t beautiful, she would hesitate to stand next to the man. Or if she were of lower status, she might distance herself from Gavin.
