Catherine's POV.

Two weeks later.

A low sigh escaped me as I stared at the kids playing happily, despite the chaos in my life, they were a beautiful reason for me to smile. It's been over two weeks since the scandalous event and nothing has been the same again, it seems as if the world was after me. I can't watch any news channel again, my phone seems like a disease to me because any time I tap it open, I would see something that would make me cry, something that would hurt every part of me.

And school?

School's a farce now, I attempt going to school but nothing was working out, I'm being haunted for having an affair with my ex boyfriend's dad, I was being bullied and when Lucas found out, he went to warn them but the school management had said some bullshit that made Lucas beat the living hell out of some of them, he had fired a lot of people, some students were expelled on his order.

School feels like a mockery now. I try to go, but it's as if I'm walking through a minefield. T
