“You can do this, you have to do this, it’s for you and Lola and you can’t afford to screw this up. You can do this.” I muttered like a chant as I knotted the tie, inhaling sharply as I stared at my reflection on the mirror.
I have to tell them today, by all means make sure Penelope understands exactly what I want. I have to make sure she understands just what dad is trying to do and has to understand that I have someone for me. Someone I’m in love with.
