LOGINThird Person POV Once the call with Leonardo ended, Kylie felt the heaviness in her chest ease a little. She felt better and rejuvenated. She got up from her bed, took a long, hot shower. She ate the breakfast that was left outside her door. Then she finally went to see the healer. The old man wasn’t expecting her. He looked up from his herbs, surprised.“Back so soon? Did your condition get worse?”After all, their last talk ended badly. She had told him to stay away from her.“No, it didn’t,” Kylie said. “But I need your help with something important.”He set his things aside. His old eyes glinted with interest. “Tell me.”Kylie nodded and sat on the stool beside him. She needed him to go to the pawn shop in the neighboring pack, to get her mother’s necklace back.“What do I get in return?” He asked, his eyes sharp as ever..Kylie already expected this. She gave a small smile. “What do you want?”The healer wasn’t the type to delay. He replied right away. “Gossip. Firsthand gossip.
Third-Person POVAt the same time, on a golf course, where a carpet of green grass stretched; three men stood together. One of them was a very familiar man. Leonardo, and the another one was Erin.Erin’s face was practically glowing with excitement as he shoved the phone toward his brother while informing their Dad. “Dad! He’s got a girl! She just called him!”Another surprise was that the third man was their father, someone who could easily pass as their triplet.Leonardo frowned when he felt his father’s gaze settle on him. He shook his head. “He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Don’t mind him, Dad,” he said as he took the phone.Erin chuckled. “I’d be tempted to believe you with that straight face of yours, but I know perfectly well it’s a lie. Hahahaha! Mom already answered it. You’d better call her back before she ditches you.”Gorgos’ lips curved into a faint smile as he patted Leonardo’s shoulder. He already believed Erin. “Take your time.”Leonardo sighed. “I don’t even
Third Person Point of View (P .O. V) It was still just a plan, after all, and it needed to be executed smoothly. However… would Cole allow it?She had no doubt he had probably already told the guards at the gate not to let her leave. As for Mia…Would she be able to get out?She wasn’t sure about that either. She tapped her chin, her expression thoughtful. On the other side, where the call had just ended, a woman with skin as smooth as a boiled egg, a pair of shimmering silver eyes, and brunette hair stepped out of her room. Her steps were light and dainty, and the light in the room cast a soft glow on her skin. She ran a hand through her lush hair as she stood in the middle of the gigantic mansion. She glanced down into the living room while leaning against the railing, and on the couch below, one could see the figures of several young men.Francesca smiled at the sight, and as if they had felt her presence, they looked up.“Mom? What’s up?”The young man who spoke had a deep voice
Third Person POV The cars finally crunched to a halt on a gravel turnout overlooking a scene of almost impossibly perfect beauty. A wide, grassy meadow sloped gently down to the edge of a crystal-clear lake, its surface so still it perfectly mirrored the deep blue of the sky and the deep green of the surrounding pine forest. Wildflowers — dotted bursts of purple, yellow, and white — sprinkled the grass like confetti. The air was fresh and clean, carrying the gentle scent of damp earth and pine needles. It was the kind of place meant for whispered secrets and tender moments. Cole stepped out, his dark mood contrasting sharply with the idyllic surroundings. He barely glanced at the view, his attention fixed on the two women emerging from the backseat. His guards moved with quiet efficiency, unpacking the lavish picnic basket and laying out a thick, checkered blanket, plush cushions, and an assortment of containers that promised a small feast. Kylie didn't wait for an invitation or di
Mia’s POV I laid her down, my breath heavy, my chest burning, my eyes teary. Then I got up and sprint as fast as my shaky legs would carry me to fetch the healer. Miraculously — did I even mention?—I could feel my legs again. They were no longer stiff and heavy. No longer dead weight like before I was dragged in. I get it now. She must’ve called the healer as a cover to “treat me,” while secretly burning herself out to fix me. Kylie… Just how good could she be to me? And yet… And yet… all I ever did was betray her, just to have extra sips of water. A wave of guilt crashed into me, twisting my stomach and tightening my chest. I bit my lips, channeling that guilt into speed as I rushed to get the healer as fast as I could. Upon arriving, he sat by Kylie, stroking his silver beard, confusion filling his gaze. “Did you two fight to the death while I wasn’t around? How come she’s drained so badly?” he muttered, already reaching for supplies to give her a drip. I bit my lip so hard
Third Person POV (Sarah Focused) The room was quiet. Too quiet. The walls bore no mirrors, no decorations, no whispers of the outside world, and the sunlight that filtered through the thin curtains felt weak, almost insulting. It was as though the universe itself had conspired to give her isolation its coldest version. Sarah sat on the edge of the bed, legs crossed, hands clenched so tightly the skin on her knuckles had turned white. The food lay untouched on the side table: bowls of her usual favourite meals, meats, bread, and other delicacies that many nannies woikd never get a taste of. But for her, it was different. Cole is like an extension of her, despite them nothing sharing any blood ties. So she able to enjoy everything his birth mother was supposed to be enjoying. And that made her feel guilty. Oh, how will her beloved Lady, Kylie's birth mother felt when she realized she hadn't helped her take care of her son like she was supposed to? This feeling made her lost
