About 5 minutes later, the Principal comes out and calls me in. When he notices Six following me, he says, “Miss Keller, this is a private meeting.”

“I have some important information regarding the situation that I think you need to hear, so I would like to accompany Axle if that’s okay with you.”

He looks between us briefly and then just nods. I suddenly find myself glad she stayed.
