Scarlett's POV:

We got to the inspector's office where I saw Sonia sitting across from the inspector. The inspector looked up at us the moment we walked in and so did Sonia. I saw how bloody her eyes were, even the make up she had on her face had been messed by her tears. The inspector saw us and sheepishly smiled before gesturing to any of us to sit down on the seat across from him which was next to Sonia, well I did the honor by taking the seat. He stared at me and his smile increased.

" Can I please see the body?" I requested but my request was declined by the inspector who negatively shook his head before leaning forward to me.

" His body was taken away a long time ago, it's at the morgue," he replied. His voice sounded like an alto-like voice, deep yet calm. I nod my head at his response. So that literally meant that Sonia had followed them to the morgue which was probably at the hospital.
